What a condescending post. Just because someone is new to this forum doesn't make their opion of less importance, and all I see they have done is reply in the same vein as the post they replied to.

Not a very friendly place if people are patronised for being new here

You know the day beermonster says anything positive about anyone is the day you are going to get tapped on the shoulder by one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, asking for directions to the end of the world gig.

Luckily today was not that day.

Do you think Jonny and Spencer will stay friends? .

Can people just shut the hell up about how horrible Jonny is?
”

I was surprised to read that Jonny had been on the lash with Moylesey and Spencer, cos Spencer has slagged Jonny off constantly since he left the house. I thought they must have made up but later on when asked who he'd stay in touch with Jonny said Kate, Alison, Lee, Sophie and PJ, no mention of Spanky.

People are slagging Jonny off because he doesn't fit in with their Middle England sensibilities. He's got a regional accent for heavens sake.

I think people are having a few unnecessary pops, aren't they?

To me he just seems like a typical 'lad' who has the capacity to be sensitive (comforting people a few times in the house) but this and some of his other good points got swamped in the house by the unrelenting Chimpboy antics (especially towards the end). I much preferred him when he was agonising about being up for nomination.

I'm not sure though about your theory that his accent is an issue though ... I've seen a couple of surveys now that credited North Easterners with having the most popular regional accent in the country.

Former Secretary General (post now held by the saintly Kofi Anan). Managed to pi$$ off the US quite a lot and they harpooned his possible second term.

Crazy name ... crazy guy!

Is that because of the middle initial?

Unfortunately the full glorious Boutros Boutros Ghali is too long a handle :'(

Hmmm... Interesting question really... did Alex get his Brylcreem deal because of his personality or because of his looks?... I think it was more than likely a mixture of both...

Kind of speaks volumes when you consider the fact that lot of ppl fancy Alex, Spencer and Johnny... they're all pretty good looking guys... but out of the three of them Alex was chosen... hence, it's natural to conclude that they preffered Alex's personality. Or they thought that it would attract/appeal to more people....

Having said that.. Spencer doesn't have any hair to use brylcreem on
”

Jonny! a pretty good looking guy????
Even Kate never said that, she said something on the lines of, he was attractive in his own way.

On his eviction night he kept shouting 'cheat' at the footage of Jonny noming him.

When asked who his least favourite HM's were he answered Jonny and Sophie.

When on BBLB with PJ, when PJ said Jonny was a sound bloke Spencer rolled his eyes.

Thay all have regional accents surely - could it be that people do not like Jonny because they simply do not like him, you do not need an excuse.

I never knew rotting corpse's recieve 1 million pound Brylcream deals?
”

I think Brylcreem just about sums Alex up nicely....thick slimy and greasy!.....suits him.......made me laugh when I heard....

..I don't think the money thing is really an issue with the Sibley family anyway, their house on its own is worth around 2 million......unless of course Alex fancies moving out and down the road...........he said himself he wasn't in it for the money!! (yeah, right!!!....the Sibley wannabees were the worst of the lot!)......

....like Jade, he'd do well to spend some of it on furthering his glaringly inadequate education!..........I can cope with people who genuinly have difficulties learning, but those who pretend to be thick when clearly they're not (Jade) and those who profess to be intelligent educated beings when clearly they're not (Alex, Adele, Tim) really bug me.......

If Adele was smart she would have done better at her Degree and achieved more than a lowly 3rd grade in Pharmacology. My friend got a first in it! Also if Adele was smart she would have played the game like Kate and won it instead of being booed out of the house into obscurity! Kate played it smartest of the lot. As she said to Jonny once, she is a lot smarter than people initially assume her to be.

I didn't mean smart in the way she played the game, I meant smart as in intelligent. You can easily tell if someone is intelligent or not. Her pharmacology degree has nothing to do with it. Anyway, she said while she was in the house that she got a scholarship to the private school she attended which was the top 2% of the country.

She also said later on in the show that she had over-stated her education and she wasn't as well educated as others may have thought. Therefore we don't know what is true or not. Adele is smart but she does not apply it in the right direction imo

Alex got the deal because he uses the product, and was using it in the house, but, what goes around comes around.....his Dad used it in the 60's....and it looks like his hair fell out in due course.....perhaps when Alex is a couple of years older, he'll get a great deal and join his Dad on the cast of "League of Gentlemen - The next generation".

It will go that way if he continues putting that crap in his hair.
”

I didn't realise that Alex actually used Brylcreem products.... I guess that might have got the deal for him... but dunno if anyoneone else would have spotted that fact (or am I just blind)

Anyway, it seems that not many people realise that Brylcreem is just the brand and they actually have quite a wide range of hair products, like hairgel, hair spray mousse etc. Pretty standard stuff really. Brylcreem are doing their best at shaking off the stigma that surrounds their name... They should probably just keep producing the same stuff but change the name..... the wonders that packaging does in fooling the general public... someone who wouldn't dream of slapping on some brylcreem wouldn't think twice of putting on the exact same stuff because it's called something else.

I'm not sure Spencer with hair isn't going to look weird....
