Out of curiosity is there anybody who has commented on this particular issue who did not do so because they remember it from The West Wing?

No, what I meant was that Argos refers to both Doctors individually as 'Doctor Who'. But the character isn't called 'Doctor Who', that's the name of the TV show.

According to them, by removing David Tennant's head and replacing it with Christopher Eccleston's, you can (and I quote):

"Recreate the dramatic moment of transformation from the 10th Doctor Who to the 11th Doctor Who."

Wow! Awesome!

(Actually the remote controlled K9 looks pretty neat! ”

How the character was credited from 1963 to present (yes I'm a sad fan):

'An Unearthly Child' to 'The War Games:10': 'Dr. Who'.
'Spearhead from Space:1' to 'Inferno:7': 'Doctor Who'.
IIRC 'Terror of the Autons:1' to 'The Green Death:6': DR. WHO (nb. this was capitalised)
'The Time Warrior:1' to 'Logopolis:4': Doctor Who
'Castrovalva:1' to 'Survival:3': The Doctor
'Rose' to 'The Parting of the Ways': Doctor Who
'The Christmas Invasion' to present?: The Doctor (again)

The Doctor is names as "Dotor Who" on screen twice. The first is in War Machines, and the second time is during (I think) The Highlanders, when he's pretending to be a German and calls himself "Doctor Wer" - Wer being German for Who!

Are there any Captain Jack figures available yet? Of any size? Although a good 9 inches would suit me best

I second Fluffy's suggestion. Have Slitheen, Daleks, Sycoracx, and the Moxx figures so need Jack figure preferably with wardrobe of his own making sure he has the tight leather trousers Bad Soupy.

I hope he comes with a "Defabricator" and a removeable "Compact Lazer De-luxe", then we wont need the trousers at all, will we?
