TV or display panel with 6 inputs.
Which TV has 6 SCART/video inputs and ability to access them from a single button?
Are there any TVs that have AV source per button? I need that many inputs for 2 sky boxes, 1 non-sky box, 1 freeview box, 1 games console/PC TV output, CCTV system. At the moment I can use 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 for direct access to UHF channels. If I bought a SCART switcher I would have to get up out of the chair to change inputs or use another remote, not ideal. SCART switcher does not intergrate into a remote control solution very easily. I don't want to be switching devices on and off all the time. |

You are going to strugle to get a display with that many inputs. My TV and its replacement (PD30/ PD50) was though unusual to have 5 inputs.... the reality was that you had 5 scart, 1 s.video, 1 component, 1 composite and ariel. Changing between sources was either pressing the TV/AV button several times to cycle between them or press it once and then the corresponding coloured button. The "problem" is that whilst you had more than 5 "av" inputs you couldnt simultaniously have devices turned on which were feeding via the s.video, component and one of the scart as these were all AV5 input.
You could get either an automatic switching scart switcher or one with its own remote control. Another option (which may be excessive) is to get a home cinema amp... my AVR has 7 s.video/ composite (shared resource) and 3 component inputs. It is one button switching for both sound and vision. In theory you could not use the surround sound aspect but having spent the money for it you may as well get some speakers and make full use out of it. |

You should be able to reduce the number of SCART inputs needed on the TV by daisy-chaining the signal through those sources which have two SCART sockets and which support signal pass-through (both when they are in standby or turned on).
And/or get yourself a 6-way universal remote like this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5344307.htm and you are all set. |

Sony Bravia
It's got six inputs. Okay, one of them is HDMI which may not be much use to you, but it has freeview built in so that's one less. It then has 3 scarts, one component, and one s-video.
