The article below states that Christine Hamilton, Darren Day & Ed Byrne are contestants anyone know who the others will be?

It starts Aug 24th for 2 weeks. Anyone know what Channel and what sort of coverage it will have?

ITV has released more information about the upcoming Celebrity version of Survivor. The News of the World reports, that it will begin on the 24th August, and run for 14 days. The show will be named "I'm a Celebrity, Get me out of here" but will be based on the Survivor format. Christine Hamilton, Melinda Messenger, Tony Blackburn, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Nigel Benn, Marc Bannerman, Paul McKenna, Rhona Cameron and Ed Byrne are currently short listed, of which seven will make it through to the final.
The one-hour long show will be screened everyday for a fortnight. Viewers will get the chance to vote off celebrities, after the fourth show. It will be filmed in a rainforest, near Tully in Northern Queensland, Australia which has previously been used for Survivor 2 in the USA.

Melinda Messenger and Tony Blackburn will be appearing as I work as an actor and in a acting agency and two of our clients have been for castings in the last couple of days for 10 second promos for the show,one for Tony Blackburns housekeeper and another for Melindas hairdresser.

I remember Joanna Lumley in a programme where she had to survive on a desert island - she was brilliant.
