Jonny, Kate and Alison went into the BB house to launch a career in showbiz. Jonny's gang didn't win, the only winner of BB was Kate. Kate has not made history she has merely repeated it. There have been two winners before her and the fact that she is the first female UK winner is meaningless. The chances of the previous 2 winners being of the same sex were 50/50, if the first two winners had been female would there have been such a big fuss about 'being the first male winner of BB?' No. Also there has been no shortage of female winners in other countries so it's not such a big deal.

Kate, Alison and Jonny best friends? You have no idea, but if it makes you feel better then keep kidding yourself they are.

The real loser is Alex? I think Jonny, Alison and Kate would be more than happy to sacrifice their BB experience to be in the same position as Alex.

Alison, Kate and Jonny liked by the public? How do you know, a very small percentage of the population voted so you have no idea if they are liked. The person that is having the last laugh is Alex, and good luck to him.

I think Jonny missed the party because he has a deal with a national tabloid newspaper worth £300,000 or so.

The same deal as Jade basiclly.
The strange thing is that Jonny hasn't been in the press so if somebody did really pay £300,000 to Jonny for 1 week it will be a waste. Maybe Jonny will appear in the press next week?

1stly did you not read the last post I made in this thread which quoted Jonnys reason for not being at the wrap aprty in his webchat?

2ndly your buying the wrong papers , jonnys interview was in the sunday papers and he has done the rounds regarding radio interviews too.

It seems to be yet another case of damned if he does, damned if he doesn't for Jonny.
He doesn't go to the wrap party (as don't Jade or Alex) and its because he's upset at the lack of attention he's getting or Joanne has put her foot down,
If he did go, you'd all be saying that he's desperate to hang on to his 15 minutes of fame and the "true" stars Jade and Alex didn't go because they're above that sort of thing and don't need the publicity.
Jonny probably scuppered a lot of people on here plans to say exactly the above about Jade and Alex come to think of it.

The poor bloke was tired, still hasn't been able to return home and wanted to spend some time with his friends and family.

Why would a paper deal stop him going to a party? You'd think that if a paper had paid that much then they'd want him to get as much publicity before they ran their JONNY: EXCLUSIVE.

My opinion is that Jonny won't get a paper deal because he was one of the least bitchy HM's and has already said in his webchat that he won't sign to a paper/magazine only to slag people off. And thats what the papers want at the end of the day.

Exactly. Kate, Alex and Jade are probably all sleeping in their own beds now and have all their home comforts and can just commute into central London for their promo duties. Jonny ( and Joanne ) will still be stuck in a hotel, living out of a suitcase and in Jonnys case getting really homesick.

Not quite. Jade hasn't been home yet and Alex is existing on a few hours sleep a night. I personally think that after chasing the BB experience for so long, it's been a bit of an anti-climax for Jonny.

So how do you know Alex is liked then?
If even a small percentage of the population don't like him then I'm sure the rest of the public will dislike him.

I think the real loser is Alex. He went on to BB, whinged for 10 weeks and made a complete arse of himself. He even admitted it in his 'heartfelt' speech.

Am watching the repeat as I write!

Kate and Alison meet Jonny and his fiance for coffee, their chat is mostly not filmed. At the end Jonny says he's going back home, and Kate makes a comment that he seems a bit down...

Later Kate and Alison are shopping and stop in the store to get thier nails done. They are recognised by a group of young girls who ask if Alex is as fit as he looks (or something like that). They also say they liked Spencer and ask if she is going out with him. Both girls goodnaturedly confirm that both boys are indeed 'fit' and Kate says 'no' she's not dating Spencer.

Kate expresses exaperation over Jades press. She acknowledges that they are not best friends but seems confused over the nature of Jades problem with her.

Lastly she confirms that she and Spencer were offered a free holiday by a magazine that she has no intention of taking as she doubts their motives. She also points out that she has heard that Spencer has been' busy' with other girls and jokingly says he has no time for her! Think the romance is off!

aah joy, this forum is way too funny tonight - I think I am either going to wet myself or laugh my head off (literally ).

Thanks so much - I should have got E4 as well by now - I am working on the old man though - I have told him that it would be much better to have digital so he can watch the Tour de France - and all the sport stuff being interactive. I dont think he is convinced - this year he had to resort to putting the subtitles on the telly as I had the internet live feeds on so loud.

Anyway thanks for the update - very interesting - I think they are putting it on C4 on Saturday at 22.00

I think it just goes to show how the media try to twist things and people on here get wound up into a frenzy! I didn't think Kate would accept a freebie holiday with Spencer but after reading about it in here, I thought it was a fact. Just goes to show that we should wait to hear directly from the people involved.
Kate seems to have kept her feet on the ground and is obviously not going to "sell out" at any cost. Good to see that she hasn't resorted to slagging Alex and Jade and I'm not surprised that she's confused at all of the angry comments emulating from Miss Goody.

I read something interesting about Ms. Goody yesteday. It said she was suspended from school for ywo years for bullying another pupil. She obviously never learnt her lesson. Thank God she didn't win!

You know fj I thi nk we are all still arguing because we sense that the 'winner' role is still up for grabs. This years bb seems to have overturned all the rules about winning. Opinion changed so often that the result seemed like a snapshot vote that could have changed moment to moment depending on the C4 manipulation expended. So no I am not feeling smug . Like I say 'it still up for grabs'. Should be an interesting next few weeks methinks.

I did not like Jonny and did not want him to win. I do, however, thinks it's time to stop knocking him. Some people are naturally funny and some have to act at being funny. Jonny falls into this later catergory. He did howver work very hard at his act and does deserve some reward.

It appears that it is not an offence to act to the cameras but it is an offence to be caught out doing so

At the end of the day it is a popularity contest and competitors are entitled to try and sell themselves to the voters

Whatever our personal opinions about Jonny's behaviour in the House are I think one thing was clear..............that he is a sensitive soul.

Judging from his reactions within the House to being nominated or disliked it must be obvious that he was not going to be too chuffed when he came out into the full glare of the public at the end of the show. He will have spent time reading the press cuttings..........mebbe watching the videos and listening to what ppl thought of him.

IMO Jonny was clearly the least able of the final 4 to cope with criticism and it doesn't really surprise me that he wasn't at the wrap party.The poor guy needs to be the centre of attraction and once Kate was reunited with her other pals he was just discarded like an old shoe.

I got the impression by what kate said to jonny as he got in the taxi that things were not good between him and joanne.
not surprising really after nine weeks of watching your fiance spend hour after hour "playing" with kate.

If Joanne and Jonny break up then nothing is right with the world.

Adele said BB is a curse on relationships, after the attached housemates all splitting up- I just hope Jonny doesn't go the same way. After all, while he did fancy Kate he never actually even snogged her, and hopefully Joanne will realise this. It would be very sad if a marriage was called off because of it.
