Hi guys newbie here … can any of you digitally enhanced/experienced types help a beffudled old timer? I am trying to set up a “system” as follows…

TV (twin scart AV1 & AV2)
Pace Sky Digibox (twin scart VCR & TV)
Tevion DVD recorder (twin scart OUT and TV)

I have connected up as per several websites advice –

RF ariel into Skybox then out to DVDR then out to TV

Scart from DVDR to TV

Scart from Digibox to TV

BUT when I connect Scart DVDR – Digibox it all goes wrong – The DVDR will only see Sky signal The TV channels tuned in are all unwatchable

If I remove the DVDR – Digibox scart I can record from all TV channels fine BUT DVD will not play back until I restore Scart ….ARghhhhhhhhhh what am I doing wrong?

Connect digibox TV scart to tevion scart in (AV2) then tevion out (AV1) to tv scart 1 (AV1). Set the digibox to RGB in the picture setup menu and the same with the tevion. Set the tv to RGB also if it doesn't do it automatically. All the info about setup menu's will be in your manuals.
The RF connections are OK.
This setup will allow you to watch sky when the tevion is switched off and record from sky when it is on.
