Possible to receive UK epg via Satellite without sky card?

Does anyone know if it is possible to get epg information via satellite (I live in Ireland and have no terrestrial TV) without a Sky subscription or card? I note that Eurosport is encripted and not a FTA channel but is the epg info still received? I do have an old digibox with no card but as BBC and ITV channels are all FTA now, I don't use it. I am using a Pioneer DVR-630H and a Humax irci sat receiver. If I do need to get a FTA Sky card, does anyone have a source where I wont be ripped off?

Thanks!

I have a 630 and am not subscribed to Eurosport, and the EPG download and teletext still work find. Have even tried it with the card out of the box.
