HI,

Not being the best "techie" ,could someone please help in "laymans terms".

We are starting a business based at home.

I will require:

1. Dedicated line for incoming and outgoing calls .

With the possibility of 2 phones ?.

2. Broadband connection .(possibility of 2 computers ).
3. Fax.

I have at the moment :

1. Residential line (on talktalk line rental and option 3 .)

2.A.O.L. Gold broadband.

I want to keep my existing home number for personel use.

I will be getting an 0845 number when website is supplied,( possibly will change to 0800 ).
But i want to differ the lines so that grandchildren dont answer the business line and with the possibility of the "boss" calling her friends ,whilst i'm working.

I have been looking at Voipfone but do not understand (doh!!!0 the ins and outs.

BT advised that i should invest in a dedicated land line into the office upstairs.??.

Sorry if iv'e run on but i'm getting totally confused, obviously i wish to do it the cheapest way possible.

If any of you can help ,i would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance.

p.s. we do not have access to cable ,in rural location.
