Big Brother

Those who have read 1984 will remember that "Big Brother" controlled the media and only let the masses see and hear what the government deemed necessary.

Therefore I didn't have a problem with C4's editing, infact I was fascinated by the way they made the public believe that Adele was public enemy No. 1 in such a short period of time. When you consider that she was up against Jade the person who the public had wanted out from the beginning it is scary how powerful the media actually is.

I have read with interest the many "posts" regarding the manipulative editing of BB3 and must conclude that most people seem to have missed the point.

I agree, but it's the wrong place to post a rational and well reasoned argument on the subject. The only reason many think there was biased editing on here is because their favourite lost. It will never be an objective discussion.

For the last time, Alex didn't lose. He was the real winner of BB3. He's just so sexy, and did the lip-synch behind the door, and, errrr, well he's just like, errrrrrrrrr, a star, and really sexy. And yeah, he's the bestest, and Brylcrem are paying him like zillions and zillions to slap congealed chip fat in his napper, so his hair will look even more like its been combed with a pork chop, and have I mentioned how sexy he is and........

'scuse me while I vomit.

Totally agree, but it does make you wonder, if channel 4 had the power to minipulate facts in such away so as to make people hate someone, what do news papers/shows do to us? Are we merely parts of a big machine or do we acctually have brains?

Yes, their manipulation is fascinating! Maybe Labour party should hire the C4 BB producers to spin and sell the "Euro" over the Pound to the general public I have no doubt that they can do it in less than a month of manipulative campain

Kate had more votes to win
Alex had less

Kate is therefore the winner
Alex therefore is not

How many times do we have to go over the same things.
How many times do you and other dim-wits have to bring this up.

The end

Well, I've just finished reading the hilarious 'Dead Famous' by Ben Elton and it's got even more dodgy editing, audience-manipulation and conspiracy theories in it than this board! Great fun spotting the characters who are based on the HM's from BB1 & BB2 as well.
The producers are so evil that this book should be required reading for all would-be BB contestants - it would scare the life out of them.
