More Philips 610 problems
What is vds/pdc explaned in plain english
, also is there a way to stop chapter 1, 2, 3, etc appearing on screen when watchin kvcd or vcd.

From the Philips blurb:
"With ’VPS’ (Video Programming System) and ’PDC’ (Program Delivery Control), the TV station controls the beginning and the length of the programmed recording. This means that your recording device switches itself on and off at the right time even if a TV program you have programmed begins earlier or finishes later than expected." Anything in the manual about disabling the OSD (on-screen display)? |

VPS/PDC is in analogue only.
