Iv never heard of a Divx recorder! Nice one!!
Depending on the age of the machine, make sure your Divx recorder plays Divx 4.0, 5.0 etc... try and find the manufacturers website and update the firmware if possible? - DNZ |

You just burn them to CD/DVD as data files and off you go.
Some players don't like re-writeable discs. You'll also hit one or two files along the way the a standalone won't like ... it's inevitable in the long run. However, you say your files won't play on anything except the PC they started out on. So, it sounds like you're doing something wrong. More details of how you're burning them out and what you're burning them onto would be helpful. Also, I assume you've tried more than one file? If you've just tried the one maybe it's one standalone don't like ..... DivX recorders are pretty new on the market so I'd be surprised if it wasn't compliant up to DivX v5.0 ...... |
