Anyone see Kate on E4 winners week

I know all us girlies can look better with a bit of slap but when she is made up she just looks totally transformed like a different person.

She was doing a shoot in a posh hotel for Express and was it hello or OK:? I foret but she looked amazing but was going on about her teeth and chin looking dodgy and saying she was really uncomfortble with everyone running around after her. She seemed very natural and unaffected jsut a bit bemused by it all.

Oh and her dad risked life and limb in a thrilling car chase with the paparazzi - nail biting stuff!

Anyone else seen it and have comments to share?

I saw it. My thoughts are why is she so worried about going from a size 8 to a 10/12??? She has a lovely figure and I think she's giving out the wrong impression to some teenagers who are already worried about being "fat"!

I saw it. The entire 'Winner's Week' so far has affirmed my belief that Kate is fantastic. She comes across as down-to-earth, unruffled, with the consistently believable edge of "I can't believe this is happening". I'm just praying that she doesn't sink and can get something long lasting out of the experience.

From what I have seen this week, Kate has come accross really well, very overwealmed with the whole experience, and tring very hard to keep her feet on the floor.

Are there any plans for Winner's Week to be shown on Channel 4?

Hold on a minute, were you watching the same show as me? I am not a Kate fan by any means but in no way did she give off the impression that she was ashamed of her current size.

All she said was that she hoped that the people choosing her outfits for the photo shoot took into account that she is not a size 8 anymore but more like a size 10/12.

She didn't say anything about being ashamed about it.

The novelty of the BB repetetive jokes and the "I can't believe this is happening" aspect of the performance, will very quickly lose its appeal, to a very fickle audience, then what?
At the moment everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and "having talks" but quite often these talks never come to anything. I don't think even Alex's Brylcreem contract is a done deal yet, although having seen his pics in the OK magazine, he does look the part.

I'm so glad to hear that. There was quite a bit of Kate bashing when the "winners week" thing started, and if you were to believe everything you read on here, you'd think that the success had gone to her head and she was acting very much the prima donna.
I've liked Kate throughout BB for her all round natural character and genuine nature. I was hoping and preying that she'd remain level headed after the show and it appears that she has.
I wouldn't have blamed her if she'd have retaliated against some of the comments thrown at her by the other HMs since they left the house, but she hasn't resorted to those measures, and only goes up in my estimation.
Well done Kate! Afterall, they're the qualities that made you the winner of the show!

That isnt what she did. She simply stated she hoped they remembered that she was no longer size 8 but more like a 10/12 so that she could fit into the clothes. As simple as that!!

Yes, I agree, Kate is coming across really well. I think she'll stick around for a bit, as she certainly looks the part. Do you think she's a bit gutted about the Spanky thing, or do you think they will be going out, but he's just waiting for Winner's Week to be over? The highlight for me was Jonny and Alison on it yesterday. I love Jonny! Alison is such a lovely person. Good on ya Kate!

It's hard to know what to think of those two. They won't rush in to anything, but she's made it obvious she thinks he's gorgeous and a really nice guy, which to me says "Yes, I want him"... He's contradicted himself on whether or not he fancies her a few times, but has never ruled out a relationship, which is weird...

He knows she likes him, and he obviously does like her, but for some reason I get the feeling it ain't going to happen. It's the same situation that we saw in the house... Give 'em some time alone together and it will probably happen, but I doubt they'll get that. It would make a nice ending though. Lee and Sophie don't really cut it

I thought the Kate /Spencer thing was Kate's cover when she very quickly realised that Alex was an individual who didn't mix
easily in a new group situation. That's not to say that she didn't like Spencer, but I thought right from the start that Kate went for Alex in a big way but kept it to herself once she saw Alex was not easy to mix.
Then throughout the show, I saw how Kate fought even the thought of Alex, she appeared to have decided he would never like her, and she sought to be anywhere and do anything than refer to him, until the house emptied, and everything she did after that was aimed at releasing Johnny from around her throat for a moment, so she could spend time with Alex, but Johnny
wouldn't loosen his grip, so Kate had to wait until they were all drunk and going to bed before she could get near Alex without revealing her feelings.
Kate also appeared to realise that pushing Johnny away for Alex would spoil the show, and she was also friends with Johnny, as well as being a person who seems to be very considerate of other people's feelings.
I think Kate has real feelings for Alex that she has taken out of the house with her, and has mentioned Alex on all but one of the E4 episodes this week in Winner's Week.

so why did kate nominate alex in the last week if she had such strong feelings for him?

Kate seemed to go after Spencer as soon as he came out of his shell. Remember, the first few days he barely said a word to anyone. It makes sense that she'd go for him over the others, as looking at this dude from Blue who is supposed to be her fave, she goes for guys with a slightly rugged look about them.

I think if anyone really did have some feelings for another, it was Alex towards Kate. But I don't think this was down to him liking her that way, but more to do with the fact that he had her at the start and then lost her, and then felt the need to get her back (a bit Hollywood, I know)... Add this to the fact that you're trapped in a house with no contact from friends and family, and it just grows and grows. I'll never forget his diary room confession of the girls he wants always being slightly out of his grasp. He MUST have felt this way about Kate.

I always thought it was Alex who seemed more keen on cuddling up to Kate, although Kate was always happy to ablige. I remember the saturday after Tim left, when Alex ran out of his bed to get into the double with Kate. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had Jonny not decided to start messing about. It was probably the most intimate moment the two ever shared, as she was snuggled up in his arms.

They clearly fancied each other, but how deep the feelings ran and what it was all about I don't know... Alex, love him or loathe, was by far the most complex character in the house, and that "relationship" was always the most interesting of them all. For me anyway.

As for winners week... She has mentioned him on each show, I think, but a couple of times, his name was brought up by others. I don't think anything should be read into it... there's so much publicity for Alex, Jade and Kate at the moment, their names are bound to come up a lot when any of them are about.

As far as I noticed, Kate nominated Alex every week but one, throughout.

Kate came across to me as very very perceptive, very intelligent, and able to separate issues, such as in this case, her private feelings as opposed to the matter at hand, which was the show.
She acted as she probably would at work, proffessionally.
She had a job to do, which was to be true to herself and not
lose sight of what she was doing there in the first place.

She had the information about Alex to hand, which was that
he was not bonding with nearly all the group, and she saw on a daily basis that Alex was not going to play the game to win, so she had little choice but to get on without him.

She also had the idea, or so it seemed to me, that he would not like her or fancy her, this may have been partly caused by her being very down to earth, and also that she had mistaken Alex's
having a go at her early on, as aggression, when in fact Alex had had a go because he was trying to attract her attention, he appears to be the type of male who once he fancies a woman,
becomes possesive of the feelings he has released, almost as if the woman has taken possesion of them, Kate was unaware.

Yeah, definitely sounds like an Alex type of reaction to have ... ie wanting to get her back, very Hollywood -just up his street, he does seem to genuinely have the movie/hero type outlook about
his personality, and a bit of an eccentric as well...

After Tim left, they were in each others bed's every night barring
one, and one night it lasted quite a few hours.

And yes, Alex was definitely keen but not as opposed to Kate,
they were both minded the same towards each other, but neither could handle testing the other's response in public, or in front of the others, so they did it under the shield of the drink.

I said worried not ashamed. I have heard Kate numerous times saying she is fat when she clearly is not. The main reason she was worried that night when the pool strip happend and she fell over was because of her weight so she said.

Do you think Kate and Alex will make it up? I doubt it - he appears to be easily influenced and it's likely his family have brainwashed him into thinking Kate played a manipulative game. Kate's family on the other hand seem more keen on a Spanky tie-up.
Alex also appears to be avoiding the reunion do's and so I don't think they'll get a chance to clear the air

They just might be moving in the same circles and they don't live that far apart so they just might get the chance to. Also feelings between them are quite raw at the moment and neither have had time to reflect the situation. Both sets of parents are clearly against them and if anything could cause them to rebel. Who thought that Tom & Claire from BB1 would of got together. I had no inkling that they even liked eachother.

Never say never, but I just can't see an Alex/Kate pairing in the future. I think its obvious that two good looking people fancied each other when they first got into the house but like someone said earlier, Kate was drawn to Spencer the minute he started socialising more with the group. She said that several times to Jonny and PJ and I think its quite clear that she not only fanices him but she really likes him as well. Which is the difference between her and Alex in my opinion. She might think he's fit but I don't think she likes him as a person, or at least his personality doesn't appeal to her and Alex will always be Alex.

As far as her fighting her feelings for Alex throughout the show... huh? From the show I was watching, you couldn't invent a surgical operation that would separate her from Spencer. I thought when the divide went up that it would signal the end of what was then a very touch-feely but not very emotional relationship. But how glued were they to each other even then? It forced them to really talk instead of draping themselves all over each other and it was a joy to watch them being so intimate with each other without being 'intimate' if you catch my drift.

I noticed she does imitate Alex alot on Winner's week, but it seems more like a jest thing rather than her subconcious revealing itself. I mean, who hasn't imitated Alex at home yet? I know, 'Hi my name's Alex and I'm a model' is a regular laugh-riot round my house. The guy was just to eccentric (and hilarious) not to imitate him. Kate's come across really well in the program I must saY. Very funny and very honest. Can't wait for OK next week.

I think Katie comes across like a spoilt little madam thankyou.

That Vogue thing was obviously made up because she didn't have anything to do that day except go shopping with the Brum Mouth.
Why she keeps sobbing about Jade's stories,
does anyone seriously think she wouldn't do the same for £500,000?
