Can you recommend a 28'' CRT tv?
Our main telly (a 12 years old 28'' Hitachi) has just given up and I'm looking for a new set.
I'm looking for a 28'' CRT that is not wide-screen. Does anyone know if there are any bargains to be had? Thanks |

take a look on Googles 'Froogle' -
http://froogle.google.co.uk/froogle?...&hl=en&show=dd But why go for a non widescreen TV? It seems odd now that most channels and programing are in widescreen - you get the fuller picture?? |

have to say that with Analogue switch off looming and the fact that your last set is 12 years old I would buy widescreen.
Freeview transmissions will go to 95% widescreen with 100% on the major channels. (Widescreen 32" is the same as 28" non widescreen) widescreen :- http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...uct_uid=101630 Non Widescreen :- http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=97980 Check Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys for legacy sets. Beko have a high reputation and if buying non widescreen you should find one for less than £150(non widescreen is legacy so paying more may be ill fated) . The majority still available are now high quality. |

Already mentioned this in another thread.
A few Powerhouse stores are closing. I picked up a Clearance JVC TV reduced from £349 to £99. This one http://www.jvc.co.uk/product.php?id=...E&catid=100058 |
