Jamie (Jack Ryder) is leaving (we knew this ages ago) and it turns out hes being killed off so he can never some back!! YES!!!

He'll die of meningitis on Christmas Day. This makes me think they will not kill off Mark Fowler of Aids in early new year (when Todd Carty is leaving) as its unlikely they'll kill off two characters in seperate incidents.

I doubt this will happen but as HIV damages the immune system, maybe Mark will bet meningitis as well.

Anyway at least we will loose two of the worst characters in the show. Lisa will also be leaving, we only have to get rid of Pauline, Lynne, Kat and Nita and then we'll have a pretty good cast!

I'm a bit disappointed as I was looking forward to Mark having a big exit storyline over Christmas.

As you say they can't both die at the same time, not unless Mark catches the bug from Jamie.

You have a point there about Phil vs Jaimie They never really gave Jamie a chance...he was always too busy with depressing Sonia. Glad to see her finally smiling

In a year or so Sonia is really going to blossom to quite a pretty girl. Some are just late bloomers - just like I was.

Awww now that's a shame that jamie is leaving I actually grown to like him along with Beppe and of course I liked Steve owen but I am glad that Jamie finished with Sonia as they were a Sad couple I would have prefered him with Zoe Slater I always thought they mad a lovely Couple

I just started to warm up to Jamie too. And I thought that onia and Jamie together were a very depressing couple. They rarely smiled, held hands, do any of the other stuff your lovers do. They are mush better off as friends.

I used to like Jamie until he started sleeping around like a tomcat. When he constantly did the dirty on Sonia I lost all respect that I had for him.
I read in a Brit newspaper that he`s leaving this year. I thought he wasn`t leaving til after the New year 2003.
