These 'trilogy' type box sets might be a good idea, and who knows, we might see more if 'The Beginning' sells well.

I'd like to see a Black Guardian trilogy (Mawdryn, Terminus and Enlightenment) and possibly the E-Space trilogy, along with the one mentioned above. Any other obvious ones?

Yes - when are we going to get The Key to Time on sale here?

You should know BG - anyone contacted you for royalties yet?

The US Key to Time set is kind of an anomoly as it was released in response to a poll of what stories people wanted released it never went through the same restoration process as the other releases and that's why it never got released over here. Basically that means that it's about as likely to see a R2 release as any other story at this stage. They'll get to it at some point but when is anybody's guess.

Well we know that a commentary was recorded ages ago but the same can be said for a number of stories. Do you know anything new for sure?

I think steve roberts has said the classic series release timetable was thrown off course by the new series- the bbc, possibily correctly- thinks classic box set sales would be low if they are also expecting fans to shell out £50 for the new series.

It is with some horror that I read that this months DWM- page 48- contains the words:

"One day, maybe sooner than you think, Time and the Rani - the first Sylvester McCoy/Seventh Doctor adventure, from the far-off days of 1987 - will be available to buy on DVD"

Swear to god, if they've given a slot this year to the bloody rani........ I'll take very severe measures!

(Like asking them not to do that again. )

Not a dime! Not content with cheating me out of The Key to Time and Enlightenment the cheating swines can't pay me for all my hard work even though I was thwarted!

With regards the release of the E-Space trilogy do we have any idea when it might hit the shelves..2006 0r 2007?

No. In fairness I've not watched Time.. in 7 or 8 years, but still there are a limited number of slots in a year and there are better stories out there- even if it had to be from McCoys 1st season.

Plus, TatR this year would equal no survival. And I really like survival.

Some more boxsets would be most welcome...the ones suggested Keeper of Traken/Logopolis/Castrovalva and Mawdryn/Terminus/Enlightenment and the E-Space in particular. If anyone from the Restoration Team reads the forums then pleasssssssse!

The thing is, though, even if you don't like the story, you know the extras will be great!

The extras are sometimes worth watching more than the episode. With Survival we have the late Anthony Ainley on the commentary to look forward to.
