I got a Sony Walkman NWA1000 for Christmas; I love it, but the software is as bad as people say.

I heard on Radio 1 Newsbeat that a lot of people have been complaining about the software and its problems; mainly its slowness and huge drain on resources.

Does anyone know if Sony has plans to patch or re-issue the software? Surely a huge company like Sony can put this issue right.

They recommend downloading Sonicstage instead (free and also available from the actraclife site if you have trouble with the Sony streaming download - it takes an age on dial up). Sonicstage has had it's problems but it's working fine for me now.
