They're a TV company, not a record label. What do they gain exactly? From what we gather, it's all the other leeches in the industry who want to sign up Chantelle for a record. Zero to do with Endemol.”
That depends on her contract with Endemol. For instance, ALL final ten acts in Pop Idol had to sign 10% (I think) of their earnings to 19 Management, whatever management company they ended up with. A contract which it took Will Young a long time to get out of.
Now, I know that 19 management is a different company, but bearing in mind the amount of money made by other Big Brother contestants, it's entirely possible that Endemol have a similar clause in the contract for BB contestants.
Apart from the possibility of Royalties (and that is speculation), what have Endemol got to gain? Well, publicity for one thing.

“It's just the same as the question of what do they gain if Chantelle wins? I don't see what the motive is from engineering her win, apart from a smug feeling that they "pwn3d" the celebs. Is that worth fixing a TV show for? Somehow I think not.”
I have to admit, I don't know what they would have to gain from her winning. Apart from the fact the public seemed to like her, and voted for her in their millions
As for whether I will buy the single of not. I think not.
