Preston's attitude towards Chantelle changed last night. Reality has set in and he realises that Chantelle has it in the bag now, and I don't think he's too thrilled about that.

I think you 're right. He has realised how far he can go in the game, and that he has to face the real world very soon.

I picked up on that he was more sombre than usual. She won this round and this made him less excited? He did not offer quality support to Chantelle even when Tracy diverted the attention away from Chantelle towards herself.

I noticed that, I didn't say anything but I clearly saw a change in him last night after Chantelle said she can't believe that she beat two of the strongest people in the house.

Preston said that he was proud of her but he just couldn't keep still after that. He was up and down like a yoyo and appeared to be in deep thought. It was quite strange.

Preston’s cutting remarks, those biting one off comments that he likes to make are very revealing. His behaviour is cruel to both Chantelle and his French lover. I like him less and less and Chantelle more and more. But then again I saw him coming onto Pete by the way he gently removed hair from Pete’s face during a rather large breakfast cooked by fragile Barrymore. And when he played chase me chase me across the garden with Pete. Do you think he uses both men and women to get what he wants? Pete was rather cutting about him calling him a prostitute (polite version) the other day so he obviously thinks he does. I don’t know what scares me more about this group does anyone feel that someone is about to get eaten? The house tension is dark and black - no red excitement at all. I can see Barrymore waiting to pounce on the next housemate, the one who makes the next picayune error like forgetting to switch the oven off. I wish they would evict him tonight.

I actually liked Preston - but he has just said that he didn't care if she stayed or not and that he ended up hoping she would go - because she really wanted to ..... yea right!!!

The disposable camera remark was a joke.....made very early in the game..I dont think she was offended by it at all.

Last night I thought he just seemed tired....and a little stressed out...but he was still sitting with Chantelle on the sofa..

I dont know what was said today....but haven't they both been saying all along that there is nothing going on between then other than they get on really well???

I thought the being proud of her was condescending on it´s own but he also added the "and you´re not even a celebrity" bit which really is blech.

Don´t get me wrong I´d hate to see her win but I just thought that was a really telling comment about how he views her.

I may be wrong but I think the fact that Chantelle is not a 'proper' celebrity still does bother Preston. I go back to the night when BB threw Chantelle the party in celebration of her new found celebrity status- Preston and Jodie had the most sour looks on their faces that night.

However, once Jodie was evicted Preston started to portray that there may be something more going on between he and Chantelle. He was getting way more touchy/feely with her in an attempt to get himself an interesting storyline. I think at that point he probably thought she had no chance of winning but he could use her to keep himself in the headlines/get himself in the highlights shows.

After watching his reactions last night I think we are seeing the return of the same Preston that we saw on the night of Chantelle's party. The same Preston who constantly grilled her with questions about her band in the first week.

Preston did say a few kind words to Chantelle last night but they were hardly convincing. What stuck in my mind was when Chantelle said she couldn't believe she had survived eviction against George and Dennis, and Preston replied: "Yeah, and you're not even a celebrity". The look of resentment on his face as he said it said it all really. As a huge Big Brother fan, Preston knows exactly what's going on and probably realised after last night that the only winner will be Chantelle.

Strange choice of phrase. I don't call this getting on really well. Why do you think Dermot said the show was dark on Big Mouth. It's dark and their is an undercurrent of complete mistrust.

i do know that the reason he didnt sit next to her at eviction is apparantly cause he at a earlier time said he thinks cursed because whoever so far he helps pack or sits next to gets evicted so thats maybe got something to do with why they didnt sit together as he obviously didnt want her to go to
