Hi , just wondering if any one has the TOSHIBA 37WLT58 37" LCD or is thinking of getting one.

I can find reviews for the smaller toshiba 32wlt58 but not for the 37" model.

The 37" model is on sale at John Lewis for £1640 , inc floor stand and 5 year warranty ,has anybody seen it cheaper at another john lewis branch?

Hi Lee,

We have this TV and think is excellent. The picture on an LCD is not as good as the old CRT, but is acceptable once you have got used to it. Make sure you're not sitting to close to it though, we are at about 2.9m which we find is ok. If you are to close you can see the pixelation, but we picked this one because it seemed to have the best picture of the bunch.


We also picked it up from John Lewis , but managed to find a price match at HiSpek and saved a few hundred. Looks like it's only £40 off your price at the moment though.

If you go to AV Forums > find LCD Televisions > and use their search facility, using TOSHIBA 37WLT58, you will find a 'Toshiba WLT58' thread with 2403 replies and hopefully you will find lots of useful information there.

Could be worth you checking this thread out. Some people have managed to get a 37" Tosh for 1125!!
