Perhaps you should be watching Stars in Their Eyes if you want to see singers....and not people trying to entertain themselves and keep their spirits up in the house which is a very boring place for them....it's not like they can go switch the TV on, or a PlayStation

Objectiveness can sometimes help in these situations. My ears ask for pads when he starts
Barrymore's singing has ALWAYS had me reaching for the remote.. One of my major objections to him (other than that he isn't funny) is his egotism at persisting with singing and even releasing records when he REALLY CANNOT SING. I always wondered who bought his "straight to charidee shop" records. One of life's great mysteries I guess
He is a total mess and painful to watch. Beware of pity for it is not love. I think he has won a good deal of sympathy but I see him as totally self-centred and manipulative. Liked him better before lengthy exposure on CBB.

He is not funny he manipulates people into thinking he is. No one laughs with him or even at him people just look scared underneath a strained smile.
