It's when people start to continually make moral judgements about other FMs I get a bit wound up. I've learnt to use the ignore button for those types.

You know the types "If you support XXXX who is evil that says so much about your morals and values".

I think it was even worse during BB6 this year than CBB. Some people seem to decide who to support, as if it was football, as someoen said, and then almost literally hound anyone who disagrees with them and get very nasty and insulting and snide. I can't say I know why.

I hardly ever have someone I particularly want to win and then find myself getting defensive and polarised for no reason because someone (I feel) is forcing me to!

Having said that, I dislike Galloway but certainly not enough to be rude to someone else about. It is possible to disagree without getting personal.

One of the tactics I dislike the most is where you might, say, express mild disapproval of someone throwing water at another HM or something and, then, you get harangued with 'therefore that means you must support the genocide that another FM has carried out'. And, of course, not liking Galloway means you support children being blown to pieces in Iraq.

It does seem to be about people who strongly associate with some of the HMs - Where any criticism of their hero becomes a personal slight on them. Then there's "issues" people who can attach their particular "cause celebre" to (almost) anything that happens in the house.

See Flame Warriors for examples of these and other pathologies.

I'm even luckier, she lives just up the road from me

I keep expecting to bump into her in Sainsburys. If we both carry on living where we do, my son will probably end u8p going to school with hers.

Thats how I am tbh. I love watching BB, though I am a highlights show and BBLB only watcher. Within a week of it ending though, I couldnt give a rats arse about the lot of them.

I don't get quite as worked up as some and this hating people thing is quite strange but I do get very involved. A couple of weeks ago I got a huge wodge of bumph from Ofcom in reply to my complaint about the way Davina handled the exit interview of Makosi six months ago - I was so embarrassed that I'd actually got het up enough to complain to Ofcom about a reality TV interview with someone I didn't even like very much.

Yes she is a normal and nice likeable person. I think a lot of it is hatred of women - you find this on the forum during every BB.

Those who post with such hatred for inoffensive people are the ones who should explain why, but they also may be the least able to explain why as they seem to come up with trivial reasons for such disproportionate hate. That said, I don t know why some hate Preston either, though there are far fewer hate threads or posts about him than there are about Chantelle.

Perhaps we learn more about the posters than who they post about, just as we can see what PB or GG are like from their behaviour on BB.

Thought I had better post something now so you now I am totally sane and not in denial!! Agree with the view that I do get involved when it is on (especially this one!) but don't give a monkeys once it finishes - it is only when they are in the house entertaining me. And I do have a life honestly

Does anyone think that some posters almost try and make a name for themselves by winding other people up? Like wearing comedy socks or saying 'I'm mad, me'.
