another channel would Big Brother have been a success e.g

If Big Brother was on ITV1 would they of made it too chessy like survivor

or

If it was on bbc1 would they of treated it like a boring old experiment or would the bbc put Big Brother on bbc2 and killed it

or

if it was on channel5 and well u guess this one.........

It would be intresting to hear your views

I think with ITV1, BB would be very successful as ITV have more money than C4 and can make it cheaper for the viewers, and I believe that they would have kept BB to the basic formula throughout the whole series. If I remember well (anyone correct me if I am wrong) ITV turned down BB1(that's why C4 took it over) and prefered Survivor because Survivor was/is more successul in the USA than BB.

I really enjoyed Survivor and really got into the contenders. Lads Army was compulsive viewing. Both ITV, but imo not enough coverage, just one or two progs a week! C4 have lots of time to fill with cheap progs, so BB fits their bill very well... somehow can't see BB on ITV either. But apart from the food and mainly the booze bills, it did all appear to be a bit cheapskate on C4. But I hope C4 isn't going to be even greedier next year with their charges - that was scandalous as it was.
