This is the man who considered going on the reality show for losing weight or the I m a Celebrity:Get me out of Here show, and now he thinks we will believe he went on BB for a political platform. Oh, yes. Mr Indignation.

It seems stramge how C4 have double standars yet again. GG is denied a political voice but for three weeks Labour at its cronies have been allowed to say what they like on Ch4 news.

But if Ch4 want war then GG's party should time every broadcast by every politician and demand parity.

Most of the reports I've seen have featured a R.E.S.P.E.C.T. spokesperson to offer a rebuttal - has that not been the case in Ch4's coverage?

I'm inclined to believe him, because of a) the Derek issue already mentioned, and 2) what on Earth would be in it for him otherwise. I mean, he's a tit but he's not thick. Then again he should have found out what BB is like, and how Endemol treat housemates before agreeing.

He wants to be on the telly and to develop a media career.
That s what is in it for him.

If the people from Channel 4 went to speak to him at the House of Commons they probably didn't go on the day he was there.

I don't think it matters - a persons religion would not matter to me, yet I think Israel is as despicable a country as the arab and persian countries in the middle east.

Oh gawd - here comes another victim <yawn>. It's not about being jewish, it's about the terrorist state of israel, illegal occupations, ethnic cleansing of people from their land the lot. Oh and the refusal to accept to recognise a democratically elected government and banning 95% of people in their own capital of east jerusalem.

So before you start making a victim of yourself, remember that just because Israel is a racist faschist country that we shouldn't criticise it because the majority of 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants are jewish.

He who controls your media controls your world.”

You mean like the powerful right wing media corporation of Rupert Murdoch?

I wonder where Endemol's political loyalties lie.

Exactly.

I've seen many documentaries where the bias of the individual documentary is either completely left wing, or completely right wing.

The balance, like you say, is meant to apply over a wider timescale of programming.

We've had Derek Laud and John McCririck ranting about their right wing opinions which were broacast on Big Brother,....but I haven't seen the socialist 'balance' broadcast by Big Brother yet.

How can a tit beat down some of the most powerful senators in america single handedly if he is a tit, be logical man. So why can tony blair stay on holiday during big political events and Galloway not appear on big brother for 3 weeks.

Right; and that's why I wonder about the comparison with Derek. I think George's political views came through at a number of points, as did Derek's. We don't know in either case what was cut out from even the live feed. Derek was far less prominent than George, and he didn't seem to have plans to use BB as a political platform. C4 may have been following much the same rules with Derek and no one thought it was newsworthy enough for us to hear about it.

Geroge seemed to expect that the other housemates would want to ask him many questions and was disappointed that he was asked so little. That already lost him the most natural and uncontrived chance to air his opinions.

I agree it's a shame that no one's looked at the aspects you mention, but that's the meeja for you I guess.

Charlie Brooker (Guardian) has a go;

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Columnists...696171,00.html

I honestly think that people that remember it at all will remember the cat and the leotard though, and I expect that to get the lion's share of the coverage.”

Thanks all for the link.

He was disliked because of the person he revealed himself to be. He can weather the storm of humiliation, but I really hope nobody forgets his hypocritical, bigotted, nasty and unpleasant narcissistic character flaws.

I expect his media team and bully boys (the ones that were already with him at the post eviction press conference) will do a massive PR job on him now.

One thing I do wonder is whether he will carry out his veiled threat to get revenge on Preston and Chantelle outside the house. He seems a man to hold a grudge.

What on earth are you talking about. Why on earth do I see myself as a victim? All I said was that I am Jewish and I didn't want people to think that I was against Pete being Jewish.

May I suggest that all the posters criticising Israel's stance against the Palestians also take a look at the fanatical Muslim goal to destroy the state of Israel altogether.

The moment George walked into the house I thought "I like him already", he will be entertaining and bring some positive qualities to the house.
- How wrong my first impressions were of this belligerent, sullen, sour-puss.

Think of holding a 12-bore shotgun in each hand and pointing one at each foot - All you now have to do is squeeze those triggers - Guess who did?

- Good grief, what a pillock!
