To tie in with a recent OT theme, I wonder how long it'll be before Bob's sig, which used just to say "Bob", becomes:

Bob, Sheriff, Wrexham County.

You are all under arrest, especially Yorkshire horse thieves and Cheshire bushwhackers.

You will be hung at dawn, sorry no appeals in this county.

Bob,Wrexham County.

PS to be serious though, we have a Local Community Councillor,(Parish Councillors in England), who we all call the Sheriff of Gwynfryn(local hamlet),hes a nosey parker above and beyond the call of duty, so sorry rhubarbe, perhaps I can be Marshall of Wrexham County.

Don't get your hopes up too high - when they first appeared on 23.5E, I selected one of them and got .................... Neighbours, with the original Aus/Eng soundtrack and Dutch (some form thereof) Large Print Subtitles! Quality, or what?

With exception of Bols Zeer Oude, which is Genever all the rest are Jenever. Now I might talk some bols about many things but Dutch Gin I do know about. Indeed I shall have pre-prandial borreltje this evening. Groetjes. (and think about narrow horn LNBs)

You don't need to buy anything - just stand outside one and breath. There's an ancient mound thing at Utrecht where the students also congregate - in a constant fog.

If I could discuss narrow horns, I would, all mine are on the sheep, Is the Gin via Geneva? out of interest.

It is flavoured with juniper berries. French for juniper is genievre and in Dutch jeneverbes - hence the origin. Nothing to do with the Swiss City. If you are ever in Schiedam then visit the Distillery Museum, very interesting and you do get a snifter at the end.

Im impressed wit the picture quality of the new Dutch channels. I did a spot check last night using the bit rate sampler on my Dreambox, and according to that they are all running at 2500-3000 kbs
