Are the other Dutch channels still FTA, including Dorcel TV? My dish goes up tomorrow!

The normal Netherlands channels are NOT FTA. i.e. NED1, 2 and 3, RTL4 and 5, SBS6 etc. The special REGIONALS ones, in the main, are. The main ones are essentially FTV and you need a Canal Digitaal Seca card and then pay 'em €40 a year for "maintenance".

I am sorry to upset a newcomer, welcome to the Forum, but sometimes one just has to answer a specific point even if it is OT.

Right, in answer to what is FTA on NL TV, only BVN, "Best van Nederland", a compilation of the best from The Netherlands (and Belgium) and the "Regionale Omroep", most of the very specific regional stations. Not "general entertainment" but interesting none the less.
Radio 1 (also available on MW 747MHz) is FTA.

On this same satellite you do of course have a lot of other FTA output, including German Eurosport, usually the same as ours but in German, and DSF (Deutsche Sport Funk??) often shows interesting footy matches.

I like the Business Chnīl
These kind of Channels I often find dry and boring CNBC for example
but the Business Chnīl is not like that at all
Astra 2 28.2°e
11,261 H
27500
2/3

Looks right something wrong at TPS HQ, the encryption is broken, therefore you wil be able to watch Arsenal v Chelsea for free on 13E with French Commentry ..... unless they fix their encryption!

MTV Networks, FTA according to another site:

Astra1

11973 V

Hotbird
11075 V

Something for the kids too as 'Nickelodeon' is in some of the above transponders.
