Update for Weak transponders

Europe2TV is now Virgin owned and operated so either its always going to be fta or its going to be fta for a week.

Not Virgin owned! Still owned by Lagardere, who pay a licence to Virgin to use the name as for Europe 2 Radio becoming Virgin Radio. Incidentally a very weird move, as last week Lagardere sold the Virgin megastores in France (also not Virgin owned!) to an equity fund (Butler).

Well, Everyone says that when MTV E mess the encyption up on hotbird, they do the same on astra 19.2 but its simply not true as has just ben proven.

Several channels on 1 West are now FTA

SBS NET 11293H 24500 7/8 Denmark

Kanal 9 11389H 24500 7/8 Sweden

Fem 11325H 24500 7/8 Norway


These channels are part of the ProsiebenSat1 Group, so maybe they are slowly making all there channels FTA.

TF1 and M6 are now encrypted again. France 2 keeps flicking between encrypted and clear. All the others were still FTA when I checked 20 minutes ago.

Virgin 17 is still FTA and VH1 is still FTA too on 19.2

I heard that France 2 and the other channels from France Television will always be FTA during self-produced programmes and other programmes for which they have the rights to broadcast Europe-wide.

Well, all are encrypted now.

Correct, All french channels now encypted and VH1 back to normal encyption
