This is a free channel anyway, but on Arte, Top Of The Pops the 70s is on every week day on this channel, I watch it on the 5.30 slot and can tell you that its brilliant. Much different from our totp2.

Some Eurosport 1 & 2 channels were FTA on 13E back around the 11th of March, for a few days, on the 11240 V transponder, but they haven't been since.

Indeed. Many Encrypted Channels have occasional FTA periods, for technical or promotional reasons.

But they are the exception, not the rule.

The good news is that our friend will find the Astra 1 version (which most definitely is not missing!) to be FTA at all times

13E hotbird 11.075 V Nickelodeon, MTV 1 euro, MTV polska, VH-1 euro and polska is FTA.

Game one and MTV portugal though saying FTA appear dead. Possible very temporary technical fault

MTV France, Game One and MTV Portugal left this transponder to make room for the MTV HD feed.

MTV France and Game One comes now directly from London only on Astra (11739 V), and on HotBird they are rebroadcast on frequency 11054 H from Germany (where they receive the Astra signal).
MTV Portugal is now on Eurobird 9, 9° east, frequency 11996 V, new Globecast UK package.

Fancy some free sport? 12.110h 27500 2/3 28.2e. Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, FX etc. FTA at this time.

Is Sky now available other than at 28.2E ................

All swiss channels are currently FTA on 13° East, 11526 H for the italian and french-speaking channels and 12399 H for the german-speaking and HD Suisse.

They had encrypted by 16.30(BST),and I never got to see HD Suisse

Changes on the 11283H tp, with a potful of channels including VH1 and Eurosport all fta (although some of the channels including ES dont have any audio)

More changes with a couple of film channels showing stuff in English with Albanian subtitles. The video for Eurosport has disappeared although the audio is there!
