Just checked 15w. Here's an update:

10988 H 2893 - ESPN (ID = PBL Service 1B)
10993 H 2893 - NASN (ID = PBL Service 2A)
10998 H 2893 - NASN (ID = PBL Service 2A)

Apparently they're Middle East & Africa services.

10998 is not scanning for me and judging by the name its just your receiver picking up 10993 again.

Perhaps. Although my receiver (TM-1000D) sees them as two separate transponders when I do a blindscan search.

They always post that and it's always wrong.

Lider TV on DSAT scrambles at kick-off (Apart from the very odd occasion when they seem to forget!).

I believe their DTT system carries it, though, which is probably where the misinformation arises.

Yes: They can either turn the TV "On", or they can turn it "Off"

Serious answer: Yes (But I should have said Terrestrial, not DTT, earlier)

Analogue,

Noticed that you are from my neck of the woods, and wondered what size of dish you are using for your Astra reception,(was thinking about rain margin). In my neighbourhood most Astra dishes are 60cm.I use an 80cm,and still suffer from weather induced broken reception, dish is positioned on external wall, but gets buffeted from intense westerly gales (valley location). Also wondered how you are fairing with your Freeview reception in light of imminent switchover.

Apologies for being way off topic

19E - 80cm
13E - 80cm
16E - 1m
23E - offset on the 1m
28E to dreambox - offset on the 1m
28E sky box - 60cm (To be replaced by 85cm fraccarro at some point (no real reason for it, but its sitting under the hedge doing nothing at the moment, and its a cool triangular shape!!
9E - offset on 5E
5e - 80cm

Try tweaking the alignment on your dish - you can be close but not spot on for the stronger tp's

Havent had the tv aerial connected for at least 2 years since it got damaged in heavy snow a few years back, although Im thinking of replacing it at some point. We use Selkirk so have had dtt available for years.

Tweaked Astra dish, managed to get both strength and quality up.Real test comes when those winds and rain start again(wont have to wait long),all Astra channels working ok.Just need weather to hold a bit longer so that i can fit the motor to the other dish (fixed on Hotbird, also got 9E)...watch this space.............
BTW it is an 80cm dish too,got some strange looks from neighbours when i was adjusting my Astra dish (prob thinking there he goes again),love tweaking the dish from time to time.....guilty pleasure brings out the nerd in me...

Don't know exactly what it is (some nature programme), but some of it looks live, maybe a live feed, on 1W. BBC nature presenter Simon King was on it a minute ago. Channel is called "Autumn Watch Brow".

It's a feed into BBC2's Autumnwatch programme, and is carried in MPEG-2 4:2:0. There is another feed nearby in 4:2:2. This feed has been on-air as long as the current series has.

The "Brown" is Brownsea Island near Poole in Dorset.
I believe the feed carries both pre-recorded inserts to the BBC in London, as well as the programme itself from 2000.

Or something like that. Anybody who knows more about this than I do care to add anything? Thanks
