Sadly not the usuals on:

What a shame, none of the HD transponders are currently FTA.
Would have loved to get a peek at Brava

Sorry if this has been mentioned but a real gem on 23E.

SABC 1 is FTA on 10758V 22000 7/8

Not often we get a chance to see South African TV in Europe!

Its DVB-S2 by the way. Actually the Stream info does show as 8/9 with 8PSK modulation.

Sound is AAC not AC3 or MPEG standard.

Those picture bitrates on TV Vlaanderen are outstanding especially JIM

Actually the Bit Rate on Jim is nothing special - its averaging about 2500kbps atm during the poker game.

About the same as a good ITV channel on 28E!

However its obviously stat muxed as its going up and down by the second.

Wow - looks like we have double illumination on 19.2E and 23.5E.

Have re-scanned and have pulled in several new services on 23.5E.

I'll be checking out the F1 GP shortly on RTL7 HD on 12188H

Worth noting that the EPG is pretty much fully populated if you have a recording facility.

Canal Digitaal have isolated the encoding problem so these channels (and those at 23.5º) will be going back to encoded within the next 24 hours - assuming their patches work.
So enjoy them while you can.

Is it worth changing my set up from 13 & 19.2 to 19.2 and 23.5? I watch (or try to!) mainly Dutch & German channels, have been known to venture into the xxx smartcard route once or twice
