Umm I can still see it

There is something very weird about this one - I can see it but a couple of my facebook buddies cant. So I did a bit of investigation on the deeper level menus on my dreambox.

The base image isnt showing any encryption on the encryption indicators. Follow me so far?

HOWEVER the deeper menus claim its scrambled in EBU. That cant be right as afaik a standard DB wont decode EBU scrambling. - Ive never been able to watch any of the EBU feeds anyway.

So I have no idea whats actually happening. As Im basically only set up for fta reception I believe the channel is fta ish. If it cant be watched by anyone else then it cant be fta.

You tell me which one is correct as they cant both be right!

BTW I get the same thing on ESPN Classic.

Nope its not in the clear. But both are in BISS.

Ah that would explain it.Odd the DB doesnt correctly identify such a comnmon encryption.

More than likely that this would be for the 9/11 commemorations. They may soon scramble again.

It's on the Vertical not Horizontal, and I'm not sure about the FEC as it works on 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 & 7/8 on my GolderInterstar receiver

I think here is the frequency as per "KoS"
Eurobird 1 (28.2E) - 11488.00 V - Txp: D2S - Faisceau: Steerable 1 DVB-S (QPSK) - 27500 2/3 (34.7 Mbps) - NID:2 - TID:2601

Odd. It scans on the Horizontal on my Comag/Silvercrest. (4 times) on 11.485.

Anyway, the days coverage ended so we will see where it pops up for the next telecast.

So true.
It really is a delight for Classical and Jazz fans.
Can't understand, why its not available in the UK,when it broadcasts to 38 countries.
The revamped website, does now show the UK,however no provider is listed,at present.
So maybe, they are planning to launch soon.
