I think what's happened is Majestic Cinema's initial power into the UK has been 'turned down' by c. 20-30%.

Yes, I've lost it here as well. It was quite strong when I first scanned it in.
I can only receive now 11.004H, 10.972V, 10.978V, 11.488V (which I didn't get anything on when I first scanned), 11.524V (which is very strong), 11.601V, and 11.678V.
Strange as all these transponders are supposedly on the same beam!

Not a channel just a notice to tell you to retune

Is this still there I can no longer get it
Yes it is still there but it has dropped from about 80% reception to 50% which on my receiver is borderline. At the moment it is steady on 52% but yesterday it was dropping into the the mid 40s and breaking up.

I was watching it last night, it was fine with no breakup, using my PC & DVB-S2 card.

Would suggest the transponder 10731V 27500 has switched to Western Beam as opposed to Widebeam as it was before. This would account for the signal reduction. Still 56% SQ in South of UK.. See Eutelsat Chart here http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/E...coverage.html#

Yep.

Was showing some war movie, "Age of Heroes" according to their site, though the times listed on the website don't seem to make any sense, as it was listed for 10AM this morning.

Majestic gone from 21.6, Top Movies appeared instead, on the same TP.

They've basically cleared a whole transponder and replaced it with new channels.

In addition to Top Movies, also iFilm English (dubbed stuff from Iran - rather comical) & HD TV (English + Arabic subs).

Nice to see HD TV & Top Movies on there - shame they replaced Majestic - odd move really.

I managed to receive some of the transponders on 21.6E on a 90cm,in West Yorkshire, including the Majestic transponder, but lost it when others did too,now I'm not receiving 21.6E at all.

iFilm English, available on many satellites, is also available on Hotbird 13E:

11.727V
27500
3/4

Iranian Movies & TV shows, dubbed into English. The English dubbing can often lead to some very unintentional humour!

Website & TV schedule here, as well as online live web stream: http://www.ifilmtv.ir/English/

Not sure if it's intentional due to the national holiday in the Netherlands at the moment, but there's loads of Dutch HD channels currently broadcasting FTA at 23.5E!

12.188 H, 27500: RTL7 HD, RTL5 HD, NET5 HD, een HD, Canvas HD, Veronica/Disney, NET3 HD

11857 V, 27500: RTL4 HD, VTM HD, NED1 HD, RTL8 HD

12.130 V, 27500: JIM, 2BE, VIER, vtmKAZOOM, VIJF, Vitaya, ACHT

Enjoy!

Yep, it will be for today only. The non-HD versions on 19.2E are also FTA, as are the Belgian channels.

The French Belgian channels aren't too interesting though, all dubbed.

Still free with me. Don't they always go free for a week or so around this time of year due to a card change over

I'd always assumed it was only a day, I guess I was wrong. I don't remember it happening last year tbh.

The card change thing could be possible, as it might explain why the Belgian channels are free too.
