You will be very limited in the channels you can add with any type of Sky box. Have you a fixed minidish or can you move your dish? With very little cost you can have a motorised system that can move around the arc of the Clarke belt (named after writer Arthur C Clarke) and you will be amazed at the range of free channels you can pick up. even more channels are available with better systems which are not neccesarily a whole lot more expensive. Anyway to answer your question, when you see channels listed they will normally be listed as frequency, polarity, symbol rate, and then FEC. Sky boxes are fixed to certain symbol rates and FEC's so can't choose/scan all available channels. As mentioned earlier a cheap FTA receiver would be a good start to multi satellite and not as expensive as you may think.
Definately go with a seperate receiver and don't use your sky box for it. Only limited room for channels and your sky box sulks if it's dish is moved back and forth. Plus you can only receive channels with symbol rates of 22000 or 27500 and fec of 1/2 2/3 3/4 5/6 7/8 only.

Itīs not active. Itīs history since a long time ago.
Has anyone mentioned National tv on 16e - this is not part of the other stuff that keeps changing - lot of stuff in English. Also try Kanal A on Turksat for live football - mainly French I think.
