Also keep in mind that Preston's girlfriend Camille hasn't seemed keen on attracting publicity so she may well have preferred to eat her own face that get up on a stage like that. I remember Maggot saying he had a girlfriend on the outside and then briefly explained she didn't want to get dragged into the limelight, which is why we probably didn't hear him talk about her in the show.

We have already established that Pete's boyfriend was there as reassurance for Pete as it was correctly anticipated he would receive a hostile reception.

For all we know, the partners/friends of the other evicted housemates were asked if they wanted an on-stage reunion, and they all declined except for Pete's.
