I can tell you, I would not pursue a relationship with someone else if I was with someone. No-one seems to care how the real girlfriend - an atual live-in partner - feels about this, she must be heartbroken.

In fact, I think the amount of justification for all this says a lot about the society we live in, in which people think it's somehow liberating to sacrifice your self-respect in pursuit of 5 minutes of pleasure with some chav round the back of the pub.

No surprise then that chlamydia is on the rise, that teen pregnancies are on the rise, that divorce is spiralling and that the general attitude of society is hitting rock bottom.

And with that I am going to bed, as this thread is giving me a headache.

look ppl. let's not fall out.

I've had enough of this meself.

It will all be alright in the end. Preston's gf will eventually get over it. she's a pretty, intelligent woman & help run a business.

I reckon she'll fall in love again/recover.

She could have a very blissful life a head of her. Preston & Chantelle too.

It'll all be alright in the end. she's hurt now, but nobody hurts forever. give her a year & she'll feel nowt but reflective, if that.

Like it's been a bit awful 7 car-crashy for them but ultimately it's prolly all for the best.

preston's gf found out what an unsuitable partner he is before things got too serious. she can cut her losses. he wanted a baby with her at one point. she's better off out.

Chantelle's happiness won't be dented by anything Preston will or won't do to her in the future.

and preston, well he's probably happy as long as there's at least one girl who admires him & thinks he's a lovely innocent caring man.

Boils down to a couple of things really, and Preston wins bothways.

1, He'll get back with his live-in partner, she'll forgive him and everything's hunky dory again. If not

2, He joins Can'telle Shan'telle, on her 'gravy train' media ride, to become the new 'Posh & Becks'.

Did I misunderstand his interview? I thought he said to Davina that, as an avid BB watcher, he had discussed his gameplan with his gf before going in and they had decided that he would try to create a love interest and she was OK with it?

Agree with you on this!!! They are very sweet together and would love to see them get together! They would make a great couple! What she said about trusting him was very sweet and a stronger foundation to build a relationship on that most couples start with!!!!

I'm so pleased Preston only came 4th! He was so not expecting that, was he? He looked rather p!ssed off. Judging by the betting odds yesterday, I was expecting Chantelle & Preston to be the final 2 and the last half hour to be a boring lovefest and that I would have to switch off. Happily that never happened. I hope Preston gives his poor girlfriend a good explanation for his total disrespect of her while in the house.

Preston was totally gutted! It was written all over his face.

He really is an open book when it comes to his emotions, and is terrible at hiding them (a classic example being his expression after his diary room punishment was broadcast).

All through the interview with Davina he had a false grin his face. Personally, I think he was wondering how the f*ck he managed to get less votes than Maggot. He kinda looked like he was sulking throughtout the interview, but just going through the motions because he had to.

I do have to say though, that the sheepish "lost little boy" look he had going on as he walked down the steps when he left the house, did get me kinda hot .....

There's no doubting that he is a sort.

He certainly did look more than a little miffed. He sat there with a face like a wet weekend. Surely if it was because he was hoping to come higher than 4th he would have at least pretended to not care. Personally, I think he was worried about the girlfriend thing

I think his expression was more to do with the big row he was about to face.

I watched Preston's face when he sat with the other HMs and while the others were all laughing and enjoying themselves (well, except Jodie of course) he was looking very disappointed and upset. That's what you get for treating your gf like that, you silly little boy.

His expression was likely due to two things:

1. In the house they had all sat there listening to the crowd booing Pete, and whoever was out next would have been hesitant as to what to expect.

2) There was an ad break just before he was interviewed, he was probably given an idea of how things were portrayed between him and Chantelle.

the whole Chantelle thing was a gameplan....

it got Preston noticed...if he paid her no reall attention, he'd be quite a nobody in the house to be honest

he ain't stupid as he might look
his girlfriend was well aware of it all

(i have this on good authority)

On the whole immoral thing - and assuming there IS something between Preston and Chantelle (and I'm not convinced that there is) ... people in relationships DO meet other people they are attracted to, get to know them and then end it with their partners. Just because you are with somebody now it doesn't mean it will last forever if you meet somebody you feel something deeper for. Unfortunately for Preston, it could have happened on live TV.

Having said that, I'm not convinced. I think Chantelle behaved pretty well, keeping her distance and denying any attraction (and I do think she fancied him but maybe this was just because he was the least ugly bloke in the house!) but Preston didn't handle his questions at all well with the whole "giving me evils" and "no comment" stuff. Could have been because he was rattled by girlie's presence, could have been because he was furious at coming fourth, could be because he genuinely didn't think there was anything to his "relationship" with Chantelle beyond friendship. We don't know.

But I do think the girlfriend has behaved with 100% dignity. And if it was me, I'd have been there to give him a shock too!

I agree I think Preston had a face like a wet weekend & it translated that he was cross at being 4th. But I think he was just completely overawed & frightened. He kept saying how he could stay in the house a bit longer.

Re his girlfriend. Its so sad all round.

I genuinely beleive that C & P have got something about each other but they havn't even admitted it to them selves yet, never mind each other or anyone else.

Preston seems to have a history of needing to be in a relationship. He split up from his fiance who he had been with for 6 years & spoke of her more in BB than of Camille. He then immediately took up with Camille. It could be the Ex that Camille is more upset with.

Personally, even if I was totaly in love with some one, if I felt they didn't love me quite enough I would sadly but kindly end the relationship.

I think that Preston really did think he was going to win. However, Chantelle won yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

But Paul & Helen's relationship has flourished, okay, it didn't start off under ideal circumstances but then again, that's real life isn't it.

Who knows if Chantelle & Preston are destined to be together.... time will tell.

Remember Sophie & Lee from BB3. They certainly didn't have a romance in the BB house & Lee was firmly attatched & they ended up married.

With all the best intentions in the world, things happen.

Just watching the repeat, Preston didn't look too upset until after Davina whispered in his ear at the bottom of the stairs. Maybe she had told him his GF was there and it he shook him up as he had said in the house she wasn't coming to his eviction.
