Well sorry to burst their bubble, but like it or not Chantelle was the REAL winner of CBB4 not Barrymore and good on Chantelle for getting the public vite and no amount of outraged cries from Barrymore fans will change that outcome

I give and do for Charity, just saying they Never stop collecting and why people think CHANTELLE should give her Winnings to Charity is beyond me.

Chantelle was not the real winner... Endemol was, as they were when Nadia, Craig and Brain won.

Sometimes the nation thinks for itself... like the great Bez victory... sometimes they sit back and allowed themselves to be played... sure Chantelle showed spirit and was entertaining... but she "won" as a non-celebrity, and no other reason... she would have been lambasted and booted in a "normal" BB... the make-up of the celebs and her non-celeb status gave her a huge advantage... although I would agree that she did come across really well as an individual... even though the main Show completely downplayed her hostile attitude to Faria and Traci.

I don't totally agree with that. The non celeb factor had something to do with it, but it wasnt the only reason she won. IMO we got another default winner because of the nastiness of the other "bigger characters". I don't think she ever had a problem with Faria, i thought that was Jodie and Preston . By the time faria left Chantelle was actually close to her and was probably only closer to Preston than her. There was an atmosphere between her and Traci that they both played a part in creating, but she hardly said anything THAT bad about her and they sorted it out by the end too. The Traci atmosphere was blown well out of proportion on here IMO to try and get FM's jumping on the anti-Chantelle bandwagon.

lets take a look at her opponents and figure out why she won:

6th Traci - nice person, No storyline, hardly featured on the highlights. Was never going to win bearing in mind there were other nice people in the final who stood out more.

5th Pete - Some would have found his behaviour entertaining but he lost alot of support because of his treatment to others and ultimately shot himself in the foot.

4th Preston - Nice guy, had the chantelle friendship storyline but problably lost votes to her because she made more of an impact than him and possibly lost a few fans because of his GF situation and his flirting. Would have won easily though i think had Chantelle not made the final.

3rd Maggot - Nice guy but no storyline. Probably would of only had a chance had Preston and Chantelle not made the final.

2nd Barrymore - Came some way to redeeming himself later on, but his behaviour in the first 2 weeks lost him too much support.

1st Chantelle - Didn't really do anything to offend alot of people in the whole 3 weeks and had the non celeb storyline, as well as the Preston friendship. She had some entertaining moments along with being a genuinely sweet person and held her own in arguments. Hardly suprises me that she won.
