I actually though BB5 was refreshing after BB4 (which was good just boring).

BB6 was just full of bitter desperados (bar Eugene) and I am so glad they are gone.

I hope BB7 will be a mix of BB 4 and 5 myself.

I think BB3 was great if I'm honest. I thought that was quite a good cast, as was BB5. I won't even comment on last year's BB.

I just hope they don't go for weirdos again (or, if they do, lets keep their numbers down). I don't mind a couple of strange people, but let's also put in some nice normal people who perhaps lead quite interesting or exciting lifestyles but who wouldn't normally be the subject of ridicule...

I actually think BB4 would have worked if two criteria had been fulfilled. If you had removed 3 or so of the really boring ones (read Scott, Steph, Gos) and replaced them with some more interesting housemates (I dunno - say people like Victor, Michelle and Alex) you would've got a good balance between some slightly boring people who would've come out of their shells more because the nature of the house demanded it (eg Nush, Cameron) and some really funny, interesting HMs who may not have rocked the boat excessively but would still provide lots of entertainment (Anouska, Sissy, Federico). This would have provided a nice balance. There wasn't a good balance in BB4 and as such the lethargic atmosphere of the boring people brought the REST of the housemates down into apathy, instead of the other way around.

The second criteria that should have been fulfilled was partly spoiled due to luck and partly due to the public. The ones that COULD have provided entertainment or rocked the boat a little more were the ones that were nominated and voted off first. Not everyone might have liked them, but people like Anouska, Sissy and Federico were the lifeblood of a successful BB4. If the final six had been made up of Anouska, Tickle, Ray, Sissy, Federico and Tania, BB4 would have turned out a lot differently and would have been much better viewing.

Yeah, definatley.

I remember thinking the show was in trouble when Anouska was the first to be booted out. When the most interesting female housemate is evicted in Week 1 you just know you're in trouble. I can't begin to imagine how stressed out the producers must have been at that point. And the potentially exciting housemates just kept going one after the other - Sissy, Tania, Federico (even though I can't stand him).

I would like to see some younger housemates who have an ounce of intelligence instead of these total 19 year old non-entities paraded in front of us every year. A few characters like this are great - they are a crucial part of the show but when you've got 6 of them it becomes very mundane very quickly. I want some younger people who have something important to contribute, who can speak to the older contestants as well as they can the younger one's - let's have some CLASSY 18 - 21 year old's who have something valuable to say, who are intelligent enough to hold the attention of older viewers and who just have something a bit more about them. That's one thing I'm really hoping for this year - that's what would be really exciting.
