Davina realised she'd handled it badly, I think. She said she wouldn't stop him for a chat so just whispered to him to take his seat or something and she said he seemd annoyed - not surprisingly. I guess he thought there wouldn't be much for him on BBBM, especially just sitting in the audience applauding the nonentity winner (as he would see her) so I imagine he made an excuse and left.
