Preston is just spineless, he only found his voice 'I ****ing love Chantelle' on BBLM. It was pathetic to watch.

It will be a nice improvement in BB7 if we stop going posters who join, have about 10 posts and just spout arrogance and disruption.

Why the moderators do nothing about their disruption of this forum yet ban long serving members that have contributed 1000's of posts take make DS look better, I will never know.

We used to call then teenage wind up trolls from the Ch4 website.

He came across as a sore loser imo. His face was so sour during all the top 3's interview's (Maggot's especially, as I'm sure he didn't expect to lose out to Maggot ) Plus, he didn't handle the Chantelle/girlfriend situation well at all.

Preston may have feelings for his girlfriend,nobody know except him.The fact that she was a fan before they went out makes me think that he could find another fairly sharpish mind you (though it did (and still does) work for Gary Numan).
The only person who didn't care about going into the house IMO was Maggot.He was a last minute choice and they probably wanted the already media friendly Eggsy (sp?) over him as a last minute choice anyway!

Why is everyone so sure it is the girlfriend thing that upset him, he knew that there would be trouble. I would hazard a guess it is more to do with his band.

Preston did well didn't he.

I reckon he knew she would win and was looking forward to coming second, holding hands on the sofa, being delighted for her and then basking in the relflected glory. However, the Rat was foiled by the Maggot and didn't he look miffed!

I don't think it's that complicated. He was all happy sitting there until they said his name. He wasn't expecting to come 4th but 1st or second. Chantelle was shocked. He does fit the mold of the winner types more than any of the other three left. I don't think it says anything bad about him. He was just disappointed he'd gone through all that and hadn't won - they all wanted to win, they are all driven creatures.

Also, Chantelle's inability to ever say exactly the right thing had her repeatedly confirming that she did not fancy Preston - suggesting he is not a hot guy, when what she might have better said that he was unavailable so they could only be friends. Hearing that said in front of a crowd of fans was probably a bit galling.

The looks on his face and the way he was sitting before his name was called was sooo smug as well! I think seeing Preston being beaten by Maggot of all people actually makes up for Bubble Brain winning.

They don't write their news updates..take them from the Channel 4 site..they basicaly post anything fromt he news section connected with Preston.

You could be right there. I'm sure he'd happily replace his girlfriend as was before he went into the house with Chantelle if she dumped him but he can't replace his band. The Oridinary Boys are going to do well off the back of his stay in the house, they've had their album advertised on E4 tonight which wouldn't have happened if Preston hadn't been in the house. I know nothing about the ordinary boys as i'd not heard of them before cbb but from what i saw on the show i'm not sure Preston could make it in the music business with out his band and I'm pretty sure they'll be a fair bit of bad feeling or envy from the other members of his band.

Preston did very well and has boosted his career no end.

The trouble with the pop world is getting exposure - he has had 3 weeks of free exposure and conducted himself extremely well.

FACT: He is now known by 1000s more people and has 100s of new fans.

That can't be in any way a bad thing.

When Davina was showing Preston the montage of him and chantelle, she said 'you knew we were going to do this' and Preston said 'yeah I wanted you to'.

That seemed to me like Preston knew what he was doing all along with regards to his friendship with chantelle. I actually think they both played up to it, but Preston more than Chantelle. All that 'if I was single I'd marry you' stuff seemed a bit OTT considering he'd only known her a few days.

I do think he genuinely likes Chantelle as a person though. You could never purposefully spend that much time with someone you didnt like. He just knew it would be an angle that would get him noticed and he was right.
