I've called him a witless twit a few times. And a talentless moron. But I take it back, he was very good tonight.

But he does still irritate the shit out of me

I've said it before....couldn't abide him when he was doing EFourum....but he's really grown on me since BBBM started. The show is a shambles but he makes it worth tuning in.

I try and like the show (especially after BBLB was restricted to the housewives/unemployed) but it really grates me that there is too much in the way of speaking over people and very little actual discussion. The show is full of snippets of good stuff.

But it isn't really supposed to be a serious discussion show. Stick to BBLB if that's what you want.

Russell Brand is a legend - give him some more shows.

BBBM should definitely return in May.

at least Russell has an edge and I hope he never loses that - much as I love Davina and Dermot - they always play safe - Russell asks the questions I want him to ask - a bit like Aled off the Chris Moyles show - that is what we need - love bbbm.

I thought it was interesting that Jodie, Pete and Denis didn't bother to show up for BBBM - bad form.

Of course it will return in May, that's been a bit of a mini ratings success for E4.

He is a master of words, a bit like Pete in that respect.

I think he would be funnier if he just let people speak with out interupting once in a while. And he needs to stop repeating things!

The show is very sharp and funny with an edge. But there is so much to be said and so little time. (Like on here). It's good that they always leave you wanting more.

TBH Dermot is really getting on my nerves these days. Why does he have to look at the clipboard for every single sentence? When interviewing guests he runs his finger along the question - and it's already been highlighted, FFS. Is it just too early in the morning for him?

I doubt they were invited.

I really enjoyed this series, I hated hiom on Eforum but was pleasantly surprised at how funny and entertaining he has been thisyear. I just wish it was longer so that they didnt have to rush to fit everything in.

It's just a job to him. They aren't into BB the same way that us lot on here are.

Back to the original post:

I enjoy BBBM a lot more than BBLB. Russell was so good tonight, cutting to the truth of what most people really think. Loved the jibe about Jade being out of a job as the dippy blonde, lol

My understanding of it was:

Jodie - for her own safety
Dennis - banned from speaking on live tv (a la Bez)
Pete - otherwise engaged!

Why did everyone hate him on eforum, he was the exact same. Bandwagon jumpers.

BBLB went downhill two years ago mainly due to stupid things like superfan and dermot looking totally disinterested in the show.
Efourum was a disaster and thats where my hatred of russell brand started but give him his dues this years BBBM has been pretty good and thats been a lot to do with brands presentation of the show.

He still annoys me with the hare krishna c*ap but id like to see him present the show for BB7.

He'd be a lot better than Davina, plus his hair is a better style

Loving Russell's work and glad that BBBM has been on 6 nights a week.

But he really should allow the guests to speak rather than cut them off before they've finished. The show should be 60 minutes long to allow this.

Canīt stand the show. Never understand a word heīs saying. Always seems to spit when he speaks or rather shrieks.. The format is chaotic and he has a rather pitiful handful of audience groupies.

Russell is the funniest man on TV IMO and I never miss BBBM. I don't care if I miss BBLB because I find Dermot a bit biased and rather boring. But Big Mouth is the highlight of BB for me.

I've not been watching BBMM as I don't like the format, a lot better being on here

But I have seen him on various shows like BBLB and R&J and I thought he was miles better than he came across last year when I did see him.

BBLB needs to get back to the basics which is something it's not had for 3 years in my opinion. It needs to be about what is going on in the house, behind the scenes NOT snail racing, superfans or any rubbish like that.
I'm sure Dermot could bring it back from the brink but there doesn't seem to be the desire to do that with BBLB anymore. If it continues BB7 will be it's death knell.

I find Russel Brand strangely attractive.
