Awww, I feel quite sorry for Preston. I know that in the house he vehemently denied having feelings for Chantelle, what with the issue of his g/f and all, but for me the eyes don't lie, and the lingering looks between them (never mind the long hugs and stuff) screamed volumes. I think he is gutted for coming fourth, but ultimately more gutted that he is out of the house and Chantelle is no longer "his" i.e. having her all to himself in the confines of the house. I think, even with having a g/f, hes really into her

Even though Preston and Chantelle deny a relationship it's quite obvious there is something there. All in the house saw and felt it.

Isn't it common for those at the start of something deny it while all those around them see it before it happens?

I don't care what they say, the looks, the touches etc are not part of normal friendships.

I so bloody hope so. It would be good to have a 'nice' couple in the media for a change.

Chantelle told Faria that she fancied him at his birthday party when they took their microphones off and got reprimanded for doing so in the DR later on. The denials are just for saving face in front of his GF. He was all gooey-eyed over her on BBBM tonight and kept winking at her.

He has already split up with his girl before and drifted back to her presumably because as he said he hates being alone and he has problems dumping people - it all points to it being on the rocks before he went in the house.

He described Chantelle as his soulmate in the house and said he f***ing loved her when questioned on BBBM. He also didn't look particularly upset when Russell suggested he dump "Frenchy" and stick with Chantelle instead.

I guess it's a case of watch this space.

Ooohhhh - thanks for that. Hubby grabbed the TV for his X Box at 11pm so I've had to tape it. I'm such a softie when I see 'those looks' Roll on tomorrow when I get to watch it!

I think that Chantelle is very conscious of the "girlfriend" and her role in this. She is too sweet to play the tart and be all over him, and she obviously does not want to step on any toes, thats why she kept reminding us (or indeed herself, perhaps to jolt her out of her feelings towards him) that he had a girlfriend.

as I've said numerous times, love isn't convenient. My mother was engaged when she met my dad.................does that make her a bad person? They were happily married for nearly 50 years, till she died. Would it have been better for her to stay with the fiance and been unhappy, but 'honourable'?

Oh dear, shame its over. Do you think that if it was longer that they may have admitted in some form their real feelings towards each other?
