The plot thickens.
I always thought that the 'romance' was sweet but never really understood the depth of feeling btw the two.
In the last few days I have seen that Preston has not necessarily resisted hearing the Hms discuss his 'sweet' or 'cute' thing with Chan. At times it seemed like he actually enjoyed talking about it. It seemed as if he too was trying to understand what was going on with him and Chan. So for instance when Tracey talked of attending their wedding, there was no strong resistance from him. When she talked of their 'magnetism' he didn't disagree. I saw Preston use the opportunity when his Hms teased them to be even more touchy feely with her. For instance when he jumped her on the sofa. He sought her attention. After she survived eviction he followed her to the bedroom for a cuddle. He jumped her in the morning on her bed saying 'you are still here'.
Now this is where the plot thickens. Preston only comes 4th. Chantelle is crowned by the nation as the winner of the show and thrust into the limelight. She is loved. Everyone is complimenting her and reinforcing the reasons for which he adores her.
Now he is in her shadow. Does she still need him? Does she make him realise that his girlfriend is not 'the one'? After all he described her as his 'soulmate'. You can't get a better partner than one that is a soulmate.
I saw Preston's face as she was paraded about as the winner. I think he is missing her already. They no longer have 'their bubble'. They may have to go their separate ways.
I think that if Preston goes back to his Girlfriend he will struggle because everything that Traci said about him and Chantelle just fitting together was right.
