Interesting how the host is saying Chantelle's exit tonight looked staged and how they all got it wrong about Barrymore

The host is discussing Celeb BB among other things and his opener was along the lines of

" Surprised how wrong everybody got it about Barrymore. Here was a guy who had no chance, who was vilified, and yet he comes second. I have to say that the whole Chantelle thing, especially her exit tonight looked very staged...i'm not suggesting it was fixed but it all struck me as very staged"

Host covering himself there, but an interesting comment

Staged,.......... It didn't occur to me but now that you mention it.

Yes. I had a sense of the show having been organised to follow a pattern, that there was a rough script of events to follow. I noticed in particular how the order of evictees went from the one with the lowest votes to the one with the most (the winner, if you will), and how carefully the time was sectioned for each interviewee.

I was suspicious by how the runway stage led to an interview spot, how the lighting, the cameras, security and so on were organised in a particular way, as if there were some coherent strategy, or some hidden hand directing the show from a secret place. What could this mean? Could it be that there was some organisation involved in bringing what should have been spontaneous, into a series of controlled events neatly split between advertisement breaks?

My feeling, is the show was contrived, organised, setup and that nothing except the reactions of the interviewees and the crowd was spontaneous. Highly suspect indeed!.

One caller said it looked staged because Chantelle knew exactly what to do when she got out.

Jeez, do you think she might have seen the last 6 series?

Yes, I noticed that too. I noticed how she knew how to walk down the stairs without instruction (maybe she was told off-air?). How she knew who Davina was, who her mum was in the crowd, how she forgot her script and in a panic kept repeating "oooh my GOD!" - actors sometimes experience this freeze. Also, she spoke into the microphone at the right end - highly suspect. Professional actor perhaps?

I suspect Chantelle may have some inside knowledge on how to be at an eviction. How could anyone, who has watched BB before, have any idea how to act? Chantelle, who has watched BB before, could not have the slightest idea how to behave, so it must be she was put through several rehersals, perhaps months before CBB was bought to our screens.

I'm only posting what the caller said. No need for the sarcasm.

I enjoyed being sarcastic; it was aimed at what the caller said, not you

Michael Barrymore can be satisfied that he topped the celebrities poll . He beat all other celebrities in the competitition. Chantelle was not a celebrity when she went in. It would be interesting to see an opinion poll or some research now undertaken to find out what Mr. Barrymore's standing is now with the Great British Public now that he entered Big Brother. He appears to have come out of quite well. I cannot recall anything negative about his presence in the BB house.
