The lines I believe have been so blurred, not just because of this CBB. But, what is a celebrity?

We have just watched and particpated in Celebrity Big Brother and yet voted for a non celebrity to win

Endemol nd Ch4 have, nd are making a fortune, cos agree or disagree. everyone here is watching, and most are voting

I do believe that personally the last two BB's, celeb or other have become the same, just a platform for non entities to invigorate or reinvigorate a non existent career.

Erm... Yes. This has probably done a lot of good for Barrymore's public image, so I fully expect to see other big names like him on it next time. I doubt they'll be as lucky though.

I suppose a celeb who needs to boost their image has to choose between CBB, the Australian jungle, or ballroom dancing/ ice skating / duet singing !

But now they have proven, you don't even need to be a celebrity. Not that that hasn't been proven before, just, now it's a more public verifivication.

Just be in the public eye, don't need to possess any discernible talent, how depressing, for all those who do actually possess a talent.

I know, I posses a talent but it shall never reach the eyes of the adoring public, for Chantelle has unfairly took my crown.

Of course there can. This year's novelty of the non-celeb won't be repeated, I shouldn't think.

And I kinda like the idea that the celeb contestants are where they are on the bottom rungs of the celeb ladder. We wouldn't get the same realness, nor the same level of confrontation with bigger stars. There's too much to lose and nothing to gain for them. The minor celebrities, whether on the way up or the way down, make for much better viewing. Their agendas for being there don't really matter to me, so long as I'm entertained.

Who'd have thought that this year's would've been what it was? I'm sure it was said that last year's CBB couldn't be topped.

I hope it long continues. I can't imagine ever tiring of it.
