Just thinking back on what a great show it was.
First time I've watched the live stream of any BB, it was certainly very addictive and a lot of fun.”

And you have answered the Op's question, how?

I bet she really regrets going on there now

(strictly speaking, shouldn't that be a return ticket)

Yes you have to be. Unless of course you can cite a real example that proves the contrary.

Not disappointed. She wouldn't've been my first choice, but she's the best of the ones who had a chance.

Op's? sorry don't understand what you mean.

I'm guessing that Op's might mean Original Post's question.

If so, then yes I was disappointed to begin with, but within a few hours all that was left were some memories of some great moments in the series.

Yeah OP does mean original post

I'm glad she won because shes been my firm favourite since day one. My support is nothing to do with her not being a celeb, but because she has likeable qualities and a good heart. Ok she may not be a great conversationalist but she was always pretty much in a positive mood trying to enjoy the experience. I had a feeling she'd win after surviving a double eviction so comfortably against 2 men - how many BB girls have done that in a normal eviction, let alone a double. It also proves nice people do occasionally come first in life.

Chantelle won because the 'floating voter' backed her. I spoke to a work colleague who I had pressurised into watching last nights Final (on Channel Four Television). My colleague is just the sort of person who doesn't watch it at all - but 'comes in' as a viewer for the final night. Such people are extremely important. They are often the deciding factor in the final hours of 'phone voting and can sway the result from one candidate to another.

Chantelle was simple and appeared to have 'no sides'. A pleasant, rather cheerful young lady from Essex. I expect she got the Essex vote (her home county) and a good thing too. That county has to put up with alot of silly 'Essex Girl' jokes and Chantelle's win is partly a reaction against that.

I would have been quite happy with Michael Barrymore winning. He displayed great self-control when Mr. George Galloway MP launched a barrage of criticisms against him. It took some time before Mr. Barrymore finally lost his temper.

Pete (Burns) - a contestant like no other - should have come third at least. He was amazingly honest - knowing that it could cost him victory. His 1980's hit single "You Spin Me Round" was brilliant. His was the funniest person to go into the Big Brother House since Jacky Stallone (Sylvester Stallone's Mother) was a surprise entry a year ago.

Chantelle winning shows that someone who is pleasant, polite and who doesn't swear or get nasty with other contestants can still win Big Brother. I wish her success .

I was mildly dissapointed just because it was a foregone conclusion that she would win from the start , and it took the sport out of it a little .

But on the whole I enjoyed this CBB more than the previous ones.

Cant blame Chantelle or the gullible public. Blame lies squarely with the producers for filling the house with nobodies and freaks. Had the line up actually contained any celebrities the result might have been different.

I am.

The programme didn't give what it said on the label. Celebrity Big Brother.

Are they going to sneak a celebrity into the next big brother and see if they win?

We're going to see a bunch of no-marks this summer for 459 weeks (or so it will seem). Did we really need one more?

Of course I'm disappointed, she has taken money that would have gone to a deserving charity. shame on you voters.

Well, what else has she got to offer in the way of celebrity?

What can she do?

Get her tits out, that's about it isn't it?

Slightly disappointed but not surprised. So does that £25000 she won get taken from the charities then? That's not on. Lets face it, Chantelle will only have a short period of fame-look at Anthony BB6.

I am not disappointed with her winning but if it was Preston then I would be, I am just glad the usually gullible British public saw through him and made him 3rd out instead of 2nd or 1st

I didn't realize that you could only vote for people who had famously achieved something in their lives............

Why are so many of you so upset that Chantelle won when she wasn't famous? That's hardly her fault is it. The way a lot of you slag her off is unbelievable.

The public voted for who they liked the most - and it was Chantelle - get over it, it's just a game show!

I guess there's a lot of bitter Barrymore fans postign in this thread.

I wouldn't have minded if either Barrymore, Maggot or Chantelle won.

I think putting the uneducated simpletons onto pedestals does not bode well for the future of this country.

I have said for along time now that it is to easy to become an aledged Celeb in this country, The media are so desperate for Celebs that they have set a trend to make anyone a celeb over night, Maybe because all the real ones have left country so they have become so desperate and less picky, I mean lets look at it Robie Williams, Kate Moss, David Beckham just to name a few and etc.. where are they now.

Disappointed, nah, not even surprised, just convinced more than ever that BB and especially CBB is now well into it's long painful death throws.

Unless Endemol do some serious banging of heads together and take the whole concpet away from the garbage that has been BB6 and CBB4 then I fear I shall be giving up after BB7.

To be optimistic, maybe the mess of CELEBRITY BB being won by a 'twist' in the show could wake up BB execs and make them realise that too many potential HMs are trying to abuse the idea of Big Brother and make it into a ten week audition and they will do something about it. i.e. ban the wannabees and desperadoes from a three mile radius of Borehamwood.

In reality the pound signs in their eyes from all the texts and votes will blind them to the ruination of the best tv idea in the last ten years.

I am disappointed with the way it was manipulated to make her win.

I think that endempol have seen how gullible the British public are that they are just taking the p**s now with the editing, It’s like "hmmm so who shall we edit to win this year then' the fault really lies with the zombiefied British Public who buy into all the favourable editing in the first place.

It's been happening for years with Graham Norton.

The fact that Chantelle was the non-celebrity didn't bother me at all. Had she been up against real celebs, then she wouldn't have got a look in. Imagine Chantelle in a house with Robbie Williams and Chris Martin (instead of the almost unknown Preston and Maggot representing the music industry), Jordan instead of Jodie, Pamela Anderson as the baywatch babe rather than Traci, David Beckham for Dennis Rodman, Sienna Miller for Rula Lenska, Ulrika Jonnson instead of Faria, Bill Clinton instead of George Galloway, Boy George for the 80's pop star and Ant or Dec for the quiz shows rather than supposed come-back king Barrymore.

As it was, I think Michael and Dennis are the only ones you could really class as "celebrities" and in recent years Michael has been more infamous than famous and Dennis is arguably not as big here as he is in the US.

The whole point of Big Brother is that it is about normal people and I think that's why the celeb version has not been great in the past as it takes the mystical celebrity status away from the celebs. Putting Chantelle in the mix was a great move. You could have put Jade Goody in this year and she would have been more famous than the majority of the housemates and what made her famous eh ???
