Normally after the final we have another show which shows what happened during the day of the final, but nothing is scheduled on Channel 4. Have they even run the highlights for thursday?

The Thursday highlights were on E4, sandwiched in between the two final shows.

I don't know why there isn't a Friday highlights show this year. It's a shame because it's always good at the end where they turn the lights off in each room in the house and play a soundclip over the top.

Still the BBLB party to come though.

They had it the following Sunday on C4 for BB6....
It was called Big Brother:End Of
Highlights off Final Friday, all exits up to winner than they switch all the lights of in the house and have echoey quotes of the housemates as they look round rooms.

Where it seemed irrelevant and out of place. I watched a few minutes but couldn't be bothered, and wanted to do other things before the next part of the finals show started.

Once you know who half the winners are it seemed pointless watching things that now had no bearing on the result.

the "ghosties" should be on at the end of the reunion programme tomorrow....

I guess that is what we get for having a production company who thought it would be a good idea to keep 6 in on the final day.

They should have had another double eviction on Thursday.

They only intended 5 for the final night (so said Davina), ended up with 6 because of Chantelle, but I agree they should/could have done another eviction/double eviction. Are they really so inflexible that they cant add another?

I think they were expecting 4, they thought Chantelle would fail and Pete would walk

But they knew it would be 6 people before the first week was over so that really is no excuse.

I suspect they are so inflexible due to the local residents, they have certainly had problems with them and nearly had to move studios due to crowd noise. I suspect they had to agree to only two eviction shows a week in order to stay, just a theory but otherwise I see no reason why they would not have had 3 or 4 shows this week.

More likely that Davina was only contracted for a certain number of shows, so the only other option was an earlier double eviction, ilo a single.


...and that would have resulted in another days disruption to Channel 4 schedule.

Nobody would really have believed that Pete would walk.

The last Celebrity BB was the same. During the finale they showed a few clips of the last full day and the one clip from the final day itself and that was it.
