I quite like the Ordinary boys...my husband has their albums long before Preston was on BB..we play them a lot.

Name me all the totally "Original" band or act in the charts at the moment and what percentage of all the chart acts is that

Typical! - use the word "unoriginal" if you are thrying to slag off someone and the word "influenced by" if you wish to promote them.

Lost of people who are "Chart age" (not myself!) are not old enough and have never even heard of The Beat, Maddness or The Specials.

Why not pat then on the back for actually bothering to listen to old music and thinking that it was bloody good stuff.

Or shall we stop with the shallow teenages who like a pop star for a year and then move on to the latest thing just so that people can't slag a band off and call them unoriginal?
