The manufactured fictional group 'Kandy Floss' featuring Chantelle as lead 'singer' will be performing the song 'live' at the BB house infront of the other contestants on 'CBB The Reunion' CH4 sunday - but will it be their one and only performance? CH4 have told the media that it is a 'one-off' for programme purposes only and will not be repeated. I suppose that CH4 now have the rights to the song and the group name, but with betting odds of 6/1 that if released as a single it will go to number one in the singles chart, I would think that there is a queue from record company A&R staff to sign the 'the group'.

One of the points for the audition was that you didn't have to sing well providing you could sort of dance and 'look the part'. No doubt that there will be guide vocals to help them but it's got to sound poor!
A LEEDS teenager is tasting sweet success after being picked to join Big Brother winner Chantelle in girl group Kandy Floss.
Emma Louise Trembath, 18, will make her TV debut on Celebrity Big Brother's Little Brother: The Reunion tomorrow with the previously-fictional band, singing I Want it Right Now.
The beauty therapist and part-time model, of Sandgate Drive, Kippax, is thrilled about performing for the 10 celebrity housemates – inside the Big Brother house.
"I'm really excited. I don't think it's really sunk in yet.
"I'm most excited about meeting Chantelle.
"I took to her straight away, watching her, and now I'm going to be meeting her."
Emma Louise, who works at Absolutely Fabulous House of Beauty, Main Street, Garforth, was being whisked off to London today to meet the other four band members and learn the song – just 24 hours before their live TV performance.
Her other bandmates are thought to be from Blackpool, Lincoln and West Sussex.
Although there are no plans to release the song, bookmakers William Hill have laid odds of 8/1 for the girls to reach number one with it.
Emma Louise said: "It would be great if it came to that. I would be really pleased, but we just don't know what's going to happen."

I would have thought that CH4 Television had the rights to the name, but I expect they hold the song 'I Want It Right Now' and possibly a contract with Chantelle as well! If The Star has beaten them to it, could this be the reason why CH4 are saying that the group is for Big Brother programme purposes only?

It was hardly auditions was it ... photos and singing down a phone. I think they've lost a golden opportunity to make money here.
They gave more time and effort to the 'look-alikes' section ... all the experts transforming them, and then living part of the life of their look-alike.
I felt the Kandyfloss auditions were very poor indeed and could have been great fun if they had been made a little more 'x-factor' -ish.
