It's on a Club Compilation album that is always being shown on the adverts at the moment. Female vocal singing "flashlight" in a really strange voice. Not much to go on but does anyone know the name/artist of this tune?

Sounds like it could be one of the mixes of Royksopp's What Else is There? which has 'er from The Knife singing 'Flashlights and explosions' or thereabouts

Cheers Granny, that's the one.

Apparently it's the Thin White Duke mix.

Tune.

Elle; it's, 'Waiting for the night' by Depeche Mode and it's on their CD, 'Violator'.

Proof - honest.

Thankyou Mr Matthew. I thought it sounded familiar. Am I right that another piece of music being used for a new series is Simple Minds?

I didn't buy any Depeche Mode first time round. This track makes me want to go and check them out. Thanks again.

You're not thinking of Supernatural perhaps? That's The Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunnymen

I probably am. I thought I recognized it. I didn't get to buy many records in those days. I'll have to check them out again thanks. I've got a box of old tapes. I'll have to dig through them.

Erm... it's possible I gave you the wrong song title, Elle. I've just seen a trailer for Bones and it's different to the one I saw which had a Depeche Mode song on.

On a slightly unrelated note, Bones is awesome. Been watching it religiously the last couple of weeks - up to episode 10 now. And Emily Deschanel is hot!

Ah well, back to the thread...
