Im not knocking Chantelle, but is it right that she picked up 25,000?

Didnt the first CBB give all the money to charity?

Why all of a sudden do the celbs have to take cash rewards for entering the house?

And if the reward is only 25,000 why even bother? When BB6 had a reward of 100,000?

There wasn't a prize at the end for the celebs, because they were getting paid to do it. Chantelle wasn't getting paid, so yes, she deserved the money.

considering she never got any cash for going in whereas the likes of jodie marsh got 150 K then yes i do think she deserved it.
She was a great housemate.

But surely Chantelle knew that she wouldnt be paid.

Why isnt BB giving anything to Charity anymore, and considering Chantelle is set to make a million, 25,000 wouldnt be much to her, but it would be a lot to a charity!

A percentage of the vote revenue went to the celebs nominated charities. Davina said all this in the first show.

Yes, it is right that she got some cash. Being famous does not automatically make you rich, and it costs money to deal with the fame. Of course she can make money from the tabloids etc, but with £25k behind her she is in a much stronger negotiating position. She can now afford to turn them down and walk away. (Which she won't, but being able to helps enormously.)

The celebs got a fee last year, too; reportedly around £50k each even if they didn't win.

I think she deserved more than 25K, although she'll probably make more than that this weekend from deals in the Sunday red-top tabloids.

If Jade Goody can make over a million then surely the much kinder and nicer Chantelle can make at least half of that?
Chantelle's ditsy but extremely likeable, especially compared with Jade.
