I have noticed with my 5800 that the generation of subtitles is slow,and that if one scene with subtitles is followed by one without tne previously generated subtitles just "hang there" for an inordinate length of time.
Last night I did a side to side comparison with my Sony RDR-HXD 910,and the Sony is definitely much quicker.
Is this quirk normal with the 5800?

There are some bugs at present with subtitle handling on the TF5800; they're pretty near the top of the list for things that Topfield have to sort out.
